University (ASU) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research
Associate/Assistant Research Scientist (title commensurate with
experience) in theoretical high-energy physics/quantum gravity. This
is a full-time, benefits-eligible appointment for two years, with
possible extension for a third year, contingent upon performance,
availability of resources, and the needs of the university. The

will work with an accomplished group that includes Paul Davies, Damien
Easson, Lawrence Krauss, Maulik Parikh, Tanmay Vachaspati, and Frank
Wilczek in areas that include but are not limited to black holes in
quantum gravity, quantum cosmology, quantum field theory in curved
spacetime, and gravitational aspects of string theory. To apply,
please submit to perezjr@asu.edu in PDF format: (1) a cover letter,
(2) curriculum vita with a list of publications, and (3) a statement
of research interests. Applicants must arrange to have three letters
of recommendation sent to perezjr@asu.edu. Minimum qualifications
include a PhD in physics or related fields in hand by the start of the
appointment, as well as a strong record in relevant research areas.
Initial review of complete applications will begin on September 15,
