They currently have thirty-four famous brands including several "billion-dollar" global brands.Job Description: You will enjoy leading the Gifting category to create & deliver creative solutions for new products & packs, working with co-manufacturing partners. In this fantastic role you will handle technical approvals, audit management & ongoing quality measurement of multiple European Co-manufacturers. Your skills will enable you to form and maintain great relationship management of branded partners and their technical and food safety interactions with the Client. You'll be part of a team but using your people development and recruitment skills to see the entrepreneurial culture is maintained with the right skillsets & capabilities in place. NPD/Quality is a big part of your role, where you can:· Use your experience to lead the category, creating & deliver creative solutions for new products & packs, whilst working with the co-manufacturing partners. · Manage the budgets, engage in discussions with the management team on allocation of resources & prioritisation to deliver technical plans within the department. · Build a technical network both internally and externally in the Food Industry for the category.· Deliver & maintain EMQM and other Quality initiatives into the category. · Ensure technical factory audits take place for our contract manufacturers, ensuring the expertise & capability exists to manage & produce products. · Own all technical documentation for existing products and ensure these are agreed, updated as necessary and communicated to suppliers, using negotiation skills if necessary. · Actively ensure that our standards & team measures are being consistently met.· Keep abreast of industry, consumer and technology trends as well as the activity of competitors, while ensuring that these insights are incorporated in to the development of a superior product offering As part of the "External Factory Technical Support" you will enjoy building an enduring mutual and trusting relationships with the supply base for the category and be:· the technical point of contact for non-conformance & issues resolution, between the Client and the factories.· -Prompt in liaising with the factories to solve any technical issues which impact on quality, cost or the client's ability to supply.You will also influence by attending and actively contributing to the activity meetingsContribution to the Team incudes:· Actively building the team culture by personally role-modelling the expected actions, behaviours and attitudes· Continuing to raise personal standards/skills to support the needs of a fast growing business· Actively supporting the responsibilities of other team members to delivery their objectives· Attend and participate in Impact meetings (4 x pa) Your qualifications will include:· a Degree in Food Science or related discipline· a Lead Auditor qualification· a HACCP qualificationYour experience should be comprised of: · A proven track record in creating innovative new product solutions & implementing through external partners.· Experience in technical auditing related to FMCG Raw materials· Good technical understanding of raw materials & conversion processes· A proven record of problem solving ability using scientific knowledge & principles including risk management.· Technical Expertise in Quality management tools & techniques e.g. VA, SPC, LEAN, HACCP & NPD development processes -High learning agility (eg.
