ID Medical is currently seeking dedicated Locum General Medicine doctors for roles within various NHS trusts in London and across the UK. We can offer both full and part time hours to suit your lifestyle and grade. We are looking for doctors from all grades such as SHO through to Consultant.
You must have full registration with the GMC or in the process of registering and continue to hold a Licence to Practice. Salary is dependent on location, grade and previous experience.
As you will be joining a valued NHS Trust, the delivery of excellent care is crucial for the position. You will be responsible for the well-being of patients and assisting with team direction; therefore a confident, compassionate and dedicated doctor is essential.
A passion for working in a fast paced, dynamic environment needs to be evident. This department is diverse, showing the need for a candidate who shows initiative and demonstrates clear decision making.
Core duties would include:
* Providing diagnosis and treatment for all categories of patient in the department.
* Applying specialist knowledge and skills across a range of impairments, procedures and practices gained through practical experience, underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
* Have a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and the functioning of the department.
* To provide safe and effective care of patients.
* To actively participate in staff meetings, forums and development programmes in order to support development of service and maintenance of high quality care.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 years' NHS Experience
* Valid GMC registration
* Qualified in General Medicine
