MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Happy Earth Day and good Monday morning to everyone! Today, we’re starting off with temperatures in the 40s and 50s under partly cloudy skies. As the day progresses, we’ll warm up into the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine. Tonight, expect temperatures to drop back into the mid-40s under clear skies. Tomorrow afternoon, we’ll see temperatures breaking into the 70s with continued sunshine! Looking ahead to Wednesday through Friday, temperatures are forecasted to reach the low 80s with a bit more cloud cover. While we anticipate a rain-free week, there’s a slight chance of a stray shower or two on Thursday into Friday. The weekend looks promising, with clouds on Saturday and temperatures in the mid-80s, followed by a return to the upper 80s on Sunday afternoon. Overall, we’ll continue to warm up as we head into late April and May. Wishing Middle Georgia a fantastic week ahead!
