Phyno makes a return to rapping on Fuwa Sewa, his first single after NWA, his song with Nigerian born American rapper Wale.
Unlike NWA where he employs his sing song flow, he lets off bars on this one. The song, with its banging instrumental, bears semblance to Yayo. Its bars bear semblance to Yayo's; a stream of consciousness centered about the I'm the best rapper boast.
Many other rappers who've enjoyed success as a pop artiste usually stay away from the heat which is the rap circle but Phyno is not one to cower. With Fuwa Sewa, he proves that he still retains his skill to awe on a beat that doesn't sound like it was lifted off an Igbo gospel song.
This might just be the South Eastern tune of the 2018 Christmas.
