SOUTHERN FESTIVAL OF BOOKS: A CELEBRATION OF THE WRITTEN WORD

The Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word offers you the opportunity to meet some of their favorite authors with 3 days of readings, panel discussions, and book signings at War Memorial Plaza from October 14th through the 16th. Some of the authors present include Donald Ray Pollock, Megan Abbott, William Akers, and Ann Patchett. ROAD TO THE HALL OF FAME RED CARPET EXPERIENCE

You can be there for the red carpet arrivals before the 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductions of Fred Foster, Charlie Daniels, and Randy Travis. The Fan Experience is free and open to the public on Sunday, October 16 at 2:30pm. Please note: to prepare for the induction ceremony that evening, the Museum will be closed Sunday, October 16. BOO AT THE ZOO

CERI HOOVER GRAND OPENING

Elise Joseph of Pennyweight will be on hand from 4 to 6pm to mark the occasion and share her favorites during Ceri Hoover’s Grand Opening on October 14. TENNESSEE HISTORY FESTIVAL

You may head to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park October 14-15 for the 13th annual Tennessee History Festival. Stories of Tennessee’s past will be told by historical interpreters during the FREE event which typically begins at 10am each day and lasts until 4pm. tnstateparks.com

CENTENNIAL CRAFT FEST

Food trucks, live music, craft beer, handmade goods, and children’s activities will fill out Centennial Park for the Centennial Park Fest on October 15. NASHVILLE SCHOOL OF THE ARTS FALL FESTIVAL

The Nashville School of the Arts is hosting a Fall Festival of their own, on October 15, with a kid zone, games, two stages, a dance show off, and more. Find more information.

JAPANESE MOON VIEWING CELEBRATION

CRAFT BEER LOVE

TENNESSEE BEER AND WINE FESTIVAL

COOKING CLASS WITH CHEF MANEET CHAUHAN

FASHION HAPPENING NASHVILLE
