Zurich is seeking a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant with property experience to service the Midwest Region\. This is a work from home role, ideally positioned within the Chicago area, and includes a company car with expected travel of 20\-40%\.
Our Risk Engineering Consultant is responsible for providing:
• Industry expert risk assessment services for customers and business partners\.
• Advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying and helping to resolve exposures with significant loss potential, investigating cause/effect of major losses and evaluating safety management programs\.
• Advanced level training for customers, service design and coordination, and mentoring\.
• Marketing Zurich insurance products and services in conjunction with underwriting professionals and brokers across company business segments\.
_Final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record background check as this position includes a company car\._
Job Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of risk engineering/loss control experience with an emphasis on handling property
• High degree of proficiency related to PC and Software or systems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related degree
• Account Engineering experience
• Strong communication and consultative skills
• Outstanding collaborative skills
• History of working successfully in a team environment
