Today is one of the busiest travel days of the year at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

More than 100,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport as many escape the city for the holidays.

A spokesperson for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority reminds travellers to be prepared for the higher volume of traffic and check in on line if possible. Passengers are also reminded not to bring wrapped gifts in their carry on luggage.
