<div>National Security Minister Peter Bunting is supporting a call from the Police Federation for a separate detention facility for Police Personnel who have been arrested. </div>

<div>Mr. Bunting who was addressing delegates at the Police Federation's 71st annual joint central conference, committed to take the issue to cabinet. </div>

<div>The National Security Minister asked Police Commissioner Owen Ellington to submit a proposal on the matter to him. Mr. Bunting was responding to the call made by Federation chairman Sergeant Raymond Wilson.</div>
