The Wakefield Wildcats have secured the signature of Parramatta Eels forward Matt Ryan on a two-year deal.
The 6ft 6in 25-year old will arrive in Super League after two years with the Eels in which he made 24 appearances and scored four tries.
Ryan, a former teammate of Trinity prop Taulima Tautai, was part of the 2012 Prime Ministers XIII that beat Papua New Guinea alongside the likes of Darius Boyd and Michael Jennings.
Comfortable at either prop or in the back-row, Ryan will join up with his new teammates pending a successful visa application and says he is excited to get the chance to ply his trade in Super League.
