San Francisco, CA – July 25, 2013 – REAL Trends, Inc, along with the Wall Street Journal, recently published its seventh annual list of America’s top 1000 real estate sales professionals. Zephyr agent Tim Gullicksen is ranked #225 in the entire nation. Gullicksen, Zephyr’s Top Producer in 2012, garnered over $54 million in sales last year.

Gullicksen has been a top-producing agent since his first year in the business, and takes great pride in managing every aspect of each transaction. After graduating from high school in the south bay, Tim earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from UC Berkeley. He went on to earn his teaching credential from JFK University in Orinda, and taught kindergarten in the San Jose Unified School District. He brings an educational approach to real estate developed from that background, and sees himself as a facilitator of property transactions.

“I believe real estate is about relationships, and I have developed many rewarding relationships both as a Realtor and local resident,” commented Gullicksen. “I am indeed fortunate to be part of such a dynamic client group, a terrific company and an amazing community. It’s been a great year, and I am excited to see the Bay Area market re-emerging.”

Zephyr Real Estate recently placed in the Top 500 Largest Brokers in the United States for 2012, and became part of the prestigious Billionaire’s Club.

“Tim has proved himself over and over again to be more than just an agent. He is a trusted consultant and confidant to his clients, colleagues and service providers,” stated Matthew Borland, Sales Manager/Partner of Zephyr’s Pacific Heights office. “We are privileged to have him on the Zephyr team.”

REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Top Thousand awards program was developed jointly by The Wall Street Journal advertising sales department and REAL Trends, a leading source of analysis and information for the residential real estate brokerage industry. REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Top Thousand honors America's finest real estate agents and their companies and is compiled and analyzed by REAL Trends. An abridged list of the 2013 designees is published in the June 28 issue of the Wall Street Journal and a complete listing is available online at www.thethousandrealestateprofessionals.com.

The rankings are compiled based on surveys from virtually every national branded network, many state and local associations of Realtors®, Multiple Listing Services, all applicants from past years’ rankings, and the 900 largest brokerage firms in the United States. Verification from an independent source is required for all submissions.

“In total, this year’s Top Thousand professionals closed 140,955 sides and $50,161,162,293 in sales volume in 2012 - a new record for this group,” said Steve Murray, publisher of REAL Trends/The Wall Street Journal Top Thousand.  “It is incredible to consider that 1,000 sales professionals and teams could accomplish so much in an industry that is still recovering.”
