Welcome one and all to Zelda Artist Exposition. For those who do not know, this series of editorials is dedicated to featuring fan artists of Zelda. I wade through the pool of artists present on deviantART and other random websites and find artists whom I think are amazing and/or deserve more recognition. The goal of these features is to shine a well-deserved spotlight on artists as well as to spread the joy of art in general. As always, I welcome any suggestions on artists to feature just as long as you like them and they have more than two or three non-doodle, Zelda pieces. Our artist for today is the wonderful HyliaBeilschmidt.
HyliaBeilschmidt is a varied hobby artist from Poland. She has been on deviantART for over 3 years years with 64 deviations and 524 watchers. She has a very established presence both on deviantART and Tumblr. A few weeks ago I was struggling with my list of artists to feature. It was shrinking faster than artists were being added. However, HyliaBeilschmidt came to the rescue with a suggestion for Laovaan and her beautiful, abounding artist blog. Thanks to her, my list has more than doubled so I am willing to practically call her a partner in this series. Aside from this web presence, she is a great artist. She does mostly traditional art, which I think is her best, but she also dabbles in other areas.
