Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well!

Today's post is a brand focus review on Essence Cosmetics, Essence cosmetics is a brand that I have been seeing alot on my blogger news feed and I was yet to give this affordable and fun brand a try. Though this make-up brand is aimed at teens, there is certainly something for everyone. Essence offers everything you could possibly imagine and at such affordable prices too! Essence Cosmetics is a brand that believes that your make-up should deliver style, confidence and fun at a reasonable price.

I was lovingly sent three random products to try out: Quattro Eyeshadow in 07 Over The Taupe*, Longlasting Lipstick in 07 Natural Beauty* and Colour & Go Nail Polish in 169 A Hint Of Love*.

Once I opened the package and saw these items, I immediately thought how festive! The eyeshadow quad and nail polish are so party appropriate since both products have shimmer/glitter in them.

First up the Quattro Eyeshadow, I personally like the four shades as it works well together. The name of this particular compact is quite ingenious and the one shimmery/glitzy colour is great for the party season. In terms of pigmentation I found this to be quite a hit and miss, the lighter eyeshadows seem to be lacking the colour impact that the darker eyeshadows have but nevertheless there's nothing a lil eye primer cannot fix. There is no mirror and/or sponge applicators included so this does let it down. It would of been a great on the go product but seeing as this compact is purely eyeshadow, it would either be great to keep and use at home or you would have to pack an eyeshadow brush along with this. Do you still use eyeshadow applicators that are included with compacts? I would love to know!
Next up is the Longlasting Lipstick, I am definitely loving this shade as this would be something I would actually buy and use. The appropriately named shade is a 'my natural lip colour but better' pink. It glides onto the lips with ease and delivers a lovely shine along with a lovely wash of colour. I love the 'e' that is imprinted onto the bullet as this gives the product a sort of a high end feel. In terms of the longevity, it lasts atleast 2 (ish) hours without needing to be reapplied. Not bad, I don't think but one of my favourite things about this lipstick is how it feels on my lips. Comfortable and super moisturising. Quite a lovely product from Essence.
Lastly the Colour & Go Nail Polish, Is a lovely red that reminds me of Dorothy's red slippers! This rather glitzy polish has lots of pink shimmer running through it which adds another dimension. I loved the brush applicator since it was flat and slightly wide which meant that applying this was easy and quick! This dried super quick and to reach full opacity, you will need to apply two coats. This nail polish shade looks great in conjunction with the eyeshadow compact since smokey eyes and accents of red in your make-up looks lovely and very evening ready-esque.

Overall I am pretty impressed with Essence Cosmetics, The products so inexpensive and since trying out all of the products, I personally think that the quality has exceeded the price and I do see some potential crowd pleasing products here! Check out Essence Cosmetics here
