Society for Family Health (SFH) seeks an experienced individual for the position of Warehouse Officer who will be responsible for supervising the storage facilities, keeping records of all products and promotional materials received and dispatched by warehouse and participate in monthly stock taking of all products stored in the warehouse. The Warehouse Officer (WO) will be the custodian of raw materials, finished goods, and non-product related materials, such as promotional materials. Supervise the receipt and picking of products throughout the product movement processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the receiving and storage of products, promotional materials, and other items from suppliers.

Carrying out all inspections, product arrangement, and document completion during the receiving process of all goods, products and medical supplies.

Ensuring that all storage procedures follow First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and lot-by-lot tracking.

Supervising stock rotation as necessary.

Issuing raw materials and other product related materials to the production department according to the lots which correspond to system stock on hand.

Issuing finished goods including medical supplies and promotional materials to Regions and Health Service sites as per product movement plan.

Processing and service all internal stores requisitions and filing relevant documentation as necessary.

Conducting a thorough review of any commodity returns, and report all findings to the Warehouse Manager including the quantity and condition of the goods.

Maintaining stores records of all items under the warehouse including updating all bin cards immediately after transaction and transactions in Lawson.

Reviewing all transactions on a daily basis to ensure a 3-way match between stocks on hand, bin cards and Lawson stock availability.

Conducting end of month physical inventory stock counts and assist with quarterly stock counts.

Monitoring stock expiration dates and recommend for appropriate action.

Supervising the loading and off-loading of goods/products.

Supervising all daily cleaning activities.

Carrying out any other duties as assigned by superiors.

Required Education/Experience

Degree/Higher Diploma in Purchasing and Supply

Paid up member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply

Paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply

Minimum 3 years of similar work experience.
