Vendor Relations Officer
Reporting to the Superintendent Projects & Vendor Relations at our Nkana Mine site. The successful candidate will coordinate all activities in the SME Development Program including assisting with supplier legislation documents management. Have experience in business interaction activities, i.e. workshop training activities with SMEs business proposal evaluation activities.
Principal accountabilities drawn from demonstrated key result areas as below:
Analyse SME performance and identify areas of concern
Identify training needs for SMEs quarterly
Organise relevant workshops for identified SMEs
Evaluate workshops and report to management
Evaluate supplier business proposals and advise management
Liaison with Chambers of Commerce and Supplier Associations
To be considered for this role you must have:
BA Degree in Purchasing and Supply or Business Administration or related field
Demonstrative writing and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office package
Experience in organising workshops/training for SMEs and business proposal evaluation
Between 25 and 35 years old
Engineering Superintendent Electrical
Reporting to the Engineering Manager Underground at our Mufulira Mine Site, the successful candidate will provide electrical engineering services to underground mining operations to support the effective and efficient attainment of production targets at minimum cost commitments in the short, medium and long term.
Principal accountabilities drawn from demonstrated key result areas as below:
Maintenance of electrical equipment and networks underground at Mufulira and West Portal
Effective and efficient service provision
Plant and equipment monitoring
Resource and Cost Management, operating & capital
Health, Safety and Environmental management
Staff development
Quality Assurance Management
This is a management position which ¡s earmarked to be filled by any individual meeting the below listed minimum
requirements:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree
Ten (10) years post-graduation experience minimum, preferably in the Mining Industry
Demonstrable knowledge of underground electrical networks, maintenance and protection
Excellent networking, people and computer skills especially the Microsoft office package
Fully paid up 2014 membership to EIZ. and EngRB at Registered Engineer level
