A freezing rain warning is now in effect for the GTA and a rainfall warning is in effect for other areas. The storm is starting a little later than originally expected. It should start between 7-8am. The worst of it is expected mid-morning. It will be several hours of sustained ice falling, so the roads are going to be bad throughout the day before changing to regular rain this afternoon. In total we could get 12-15mm of freezing rain. Air Canada and Westjet have already issued travel advisories. Check online before heading to the airport.
