Yesterday, Cineplex announced it will screen Purple Rain at 54 theatres across the country on Monday May 2nd. This is Cineplex’s way of celebrating the life of Prince. Tickets are $6.99, and $1 from each ticket will be donated to MusicCounts. Some local theatres showing the film include Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Dundas, Cineplex Cinemas VIP Don Mills and Famous Players Canada Square at Yonge and Eglinton.
