ospice of the Foothills’ third Gift & Thrift store is now open! After a very busy opening day on Thursday, November 20th, Hospice of the Foothills hosted a Chamber Mixer and Ribbon Cutting at its new Grass Valley location, 762 Freeman Lane, in the Pine Creek shopping center. The mixer was very well attended by members of the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce, Nevada City Chamber of Commerce, and local dignitaries. Jack Pascoe, a new member of Hospice of the Foothills’ board of directors did the Ribbon Cutting honors. Jack spoke of the specialized kind of care hospice provides for those facing a life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers. " Hospice of the Foothills concentrates on making patients as free of pain and as comfortable as they want to be so they can make the most of the time that remains.
