A Journey Through Time VIII, Asia’s premier watch and jewellery showcase, is set to return with a stellar line-up of luxury watch brands and exquisite jewellery.
Presented by YTL’s Starhill Gallery and endorsed by the Tourism and Culture Ministry, the annual event will once again be a focal point for watch and jewellery enthusiasts as well as renowned brands to come together in celebration of beauty, luxury and excellence.
Over the years, the event has attracted approximately 1.2 million visitors and it is expected to draw 200,000 visitors this time.
The event will wow visitors and enthusiasts with rare private collections, first-in-market editions and exquisite pieces from over 125 luxury brands — some of which are debuting in Malaysia, such as Hyt, Lilla Rio, Moiseikin, Carlo Barberis and Gem Palace — being featured during the eight-day extravaganza.
YTL Land and Development Bhd, YTL Hotels and Properties vice-president Joseph Yeoh said that this year’s showcase will be the most diverse event yet. He said the objective was to solidify the showcase as a key event in the Malaysian calendar.
“Through this showcase, we hope to not only drive tourist arrivals and increase tourism spending but also to enhance the position of Malaysia as a destination of choice for luxury shopping and dining experiences,” he said.
He added that the event was poised to be the perfect show starter for Baselworld 2015.
