Son-in-law of one of the biggest Software tycoons in India has made his maiden run for a seat in British Parliament. “I am positive that he will do well as an MP,” Mr. Murthy said. He further added that “He has big shoes to fill since he is succeeding William Hague.”

Rishi Sunak who has been married to Mr. Murthy’s daughter, Aksahta, since 2009 won as a candidate of Conservative Party with a convincing majority in the General Elections. “It’s a great honour to have been selected as the Conservative Candidate for Richmond for the 2015 General Election,” posted in his website.

Murthy said that he was very happy with the victory of Sunak for the constituency of Richmond- Yorks with such a majority he and Akshata have worked very hard beat the pavement and communicated his merit, integrity and his vision for the area which he serves.

Mr. Sunak is graduated from Oxford University who have established 1 billion pound global establishment which specializes in funding small businesses in England. Akshata Murthy was his class mate in Stanford Business School. Now the couple has two daughter Krishna and Anoushka.
