1. Dragon Ball Z



DBZ is a Japanese animated series and is a sequel to the anime series Dragon Ball. The series follows the adventure of a Martial Artist cum alien protagonist, Goku, and his group of friends trying to defend earth from other evil aliens by fighting and defeating them. The series also shows the evolution of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta from enemies to allies to best friends.

The show gives a lot of iconic villains which ranges from alien species, intergalactic warriors, androids, and indestructible magical creatures. DBZ is the most popular anime series in America, India, UK, and Japan.

2. Naruto Shippuden



Naruto Shippuden is a continuation of the original animated series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and the half years, Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it is not as easy as he has amassed a few more dangerous enemies, in the likes of the Shinobi: Akatsuki.

3. Avatar: The Last Airbender

4. One Piece

Another anime series developed from the manga which got very popular from very initial stage of its release. The series starts with the introduction to the King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger who is sentenced to death. He announces that his treasure, the One Piece will be available to anyone who finds it. As a result, many pirates set out to the sea to find the treasure. One Piece follows the adventure of a young pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, and his diverse crew of pirates named Straw Hat Pirates who set sails in search of the world’s ultimate treasure, “One Piece”. Luffy’s body had gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil fruit. The world of one piece is populated with humans, several races of fishermen, minkmen and giants.

5. Yu-Gi-Oh!

Another anime series developed from the manga which follows the story of a young boy named, Yugi Mutou, who solves an ancient Millennium Puzzle which awakens a gambling alter-ego within his body which solves his conflicts using various dangerous Shadow Games. The losers of these games were often subjected to dark punishment called a penalty game. Yugi plays the games like cards, dice or board games to solve the conflicts of his own or of his friends. Later Yugi and friends get to know that the person inside his puzzle is of a nameless Egyptian Pharaoh who had lost his memories. Further, the series follows Yugi tries to regain the Pharaoh memories.

6. Fullmetal Alchemist

Centuries ago, Hohenheim and Dante perfected methods for making the Philosopher’s stone and achieved immortality by transferring their souls and intellects onto other bodies as they age. Hohenheim was eventually overcome with the guilt of sacrificing lives to make the Stone and left Dante. Although Dante can still jump from body to body with the last Stone she and Hohenheim created, she is not willing to risk the rebound of creating herself. Thus uses the homunculi to encourage another alchemist to create another complete Philosopher’s Stone for her.

7. Pokémon

The series is set up in a universe which is full of monsters and beasts which are tamed by humans are possess different elemental traits according to the surrounding they are found. The animated show features the adventures of young Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchum and his friends who are set on a journey to train their Pokémon and to battle against other trainer and Gym Masters. The show starts with Ash getting his training Pokémon as an untamed Pikachu and the show follows on how they built their relationship on friendship. Ash travels with his friends Mystie and Brock to different cities to win Gym battles and collects Gym Badges to fight in the Pokémon Championship League.

8. Inazuma Eleven

The series is based on football and the enthusiasm of the players toward the game. The story revolves around a young boy Mark Evans who tries to build a school football team and a real soccer club. Mark is very talented and one of the best goal-keeper. The story further follows the development of their team and wins various football matches and competition. Later they recruit from all over the country to make the Japan’s best team. After that, they compete against Alicia academy to save the world.

9. Beyblade

Beyblade is a very popular TV animated series of our childhood. The series is based on a type of toy which is called Beyblade, which rotates on its axis on the principle of centrifugal force. The toy is very popular among kids and used to battle against each other. These toys contain spirits of ancient beasts called bidbeasts which powers the Beyblades to fight against each other. The story revolves around a young boy named Tyson and his team, Kenny, Max, Ray, and Kai, who sets to become world’s greatest beyblader and to win Beyblade battles against almost every opponent.

10. Digimon

Digimon is the story of few school kids who finds a way to a Digital World, inhabited by the Digital Monsters or Digimon. The children choose to save the Digital world as well as the real world from the evil. Each kid was given a Digivice which selected them to be transported to the Digiworld and was paired up with a partner Digimon. The Digivices help the Digimon to Digivolve during the fights against stronger creatures.
