Confidence is key. Finding a way to retain confidence and be persistent is necessary if you are going to make a successful story for yourself. Although it is true that not everybody is against you, that doesn’t necessarily mean that everybody you meet will be invested in your success, either– unless it will inevitably lead to their success, as well, of course.

One of the biggest enemies of confidence is also a side effect of a lack of confidence– talk about a vicious cycle– it’s self doubt. When we are wracked with self doubt, it prevents us from achieving what would usually be simple for us.

Still, self doubt is a natural happening, and there are many triggers which cause it to creep into our lives. Because of this, it’s best if we have ways to silence it when it begins to occur.

Take into consideration your whole self. How strong are you physically and emotionally right now? How can you make those aspects of yourself better?

Get enough sleep and proper nutrition. Though eating chocolate and staying up all night watching sad movies may seem like a fun idea, it’s probably not the ideal way to self-care.

Remember when things were worse. Last year at about this time, I was recovering from four surgeries… Perspective is important.

Check yourself, take proper care of yourself, and remember the adversity you’ve already succeeded in going through.

Do you experience self doubt? If so, how do you deal with it?
