If you’re thinking of building or extending, the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland will provide a free consultation with a professional architect, while the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland will have advice on energy saving measures and home energy grants. For outdoor ideas, the Roadstone Outdoor Living Space will provide an idea of how you can turn your garden into a modern and functional space, while the Irish Garden Advice Clinic will also be on-hand with advice and ideas for gardening enthusiasts.
Unfortunately, all of these ideas and plans will come with a price. To that end, Permanent TSB will host a one-stop-shop advice centre, covering mortgages, home improvement loans and home insurance. “Usually after a few years in their new home and when the family starts to grow, customers want to extend the house. Whether it’s a new bedroom or bigger kitchen, we have products specifically tailored to suit customers’ needs and we are available to discuss these options at the Ideal Home Show,” said Elaine Moore, Head of Personal Lending.
