Channel Sales Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur/Selangor/Sambilan

Job Description:
1) Appointing and handling new distributors in respective cities & upcountry area.
2) Negotiating with distributors for the commission over total collection.
3) Making contract with the appointed Distributors on behalf of the company.
4) Handling & Training Team.
5) Responsible for generating revenue through these Distributors.
6) Achieving weekly as well as monthly targets through Distributors.
7) Setting targets for each Distributor and ensuring to achieve in TAT.
8) Visiting the client site.
9) Preparing MIS of daily sales and revenue generated.
10) Reporting and coordinating with the Superior for assigned targets.
11) Facilitating channel partners by appointing sales consultants for product support.
12) Business Development
– Analyzing business potential, conceptualizing & executing sales and pricing strategies to drive sales, augment turnover and achieve desired targets.
– Monitoring competitor activities and devising effective counter measures.
– Identifying, qualifying and pursuing business opportunities through market surveys and mapping as per targeted plans as well as through lead generation.
13) New Market Development
– Identifying new market segments and tapping profitable business opportunities in B2B & B2C segment.
– Evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve product wise targets.

Desired Candidate’s Profile:
1) Should have 5 to 6 years of experience in channel sales, handling and appointing Distributors.
2) Should be good in communication.
3) Should have leadership quality.
4) Should be a diploma/graduate.
5) Preferable from telecom (prepaid or handset)industry, Insurance, Retail Sales

Experience:
2 to 6 Years of experience in sales, preferably from direct sales bg-IT, Media, Telecom, Hot deals, FMCG, BFSI, Service Industries-Holidays, hotels, resorts, aviation, etc. Should understand recent marketing and advertising trends like- online sales, hot deals, B2B sales etc

Responsibilities:
• Development of new business across SMI/SME through cold-calling, existing advertisers from other advertising media (such as Yellow Pages, Super Pages, internet, newspapers etc.)
