Within these hallowed halls, in this great stone castle built many years ago, minstrels have oft sung ballads of fantastical beasts that live amongst us; their presence masked by magic and mystery.  They dwell in the shadows and dark corners of the land; hidden from prying eyes.  Sheltered by the lush green leaves of the forest, these shy woodland creatures keep to themselves; but others are a far cry from the bashful sylphs and gnomes one hears of in fairytales.

Oft times these wicked sprites played pranks upon weary travelers; causing them to lose their way.  Other more malevolent beings prayed upon these unfortunate souls who were never heard of again.  Some say it is the forest itself that drove men to madness.  It is a piteous fool who ventures all alone into the darkness of the haunted wood…..

“Yunho, art thou sure we travel upon the right road?  These woods seem dark and dangerous.”

“Fear not, Jaejong.  We are young and hearty.  No harm shall come to us in this forest.  When we rest, our camp fires will keep the wolves at bay.”

“ Tis not wolves that vex me, but the fairy folk which dwell in these woods.”

“We have naught to fear of elementals here; free your mind of such thoughts, my comrade.”

They travelled on, arm and arm, two friends cheery in their company, blissfully unaware of the watchful eyes which spied upon them from the tree tops.  Two ethereal creatures, perched high upon sturdy branches peered down upon them from the canopy of the forest.  From a distance they appeared human; young males garbed in animal skins which barely covered their sex.  Their lean, taught, half-naked bodies gleamed in the pale moonlight; their dark, silk-like hair blew back from their youthful faces; exposing their exquisite and exotic features.  They stood next to each other; one tall as the trees, the other smaller, almost fragile in appearance.  But these elven-like creatures were not weak; one possessed strength and intelligence; the other was wiry and fleet of foot. Together they were formidable, and oft times deadly.

“What say you Chunnie-ah, shall we give these humans chase?”

“Nay, Minku.  I have plans for these two; a gentler game.”

With slender fingers, the one called Yoochun reached inside his rough hewn braies and brought forth a small pouch.  He opened it slowly, a gleam of golden light emanating from within the silken bag.

“Fairy dust?  You’ve stolen Fairy dust!”

The one called Yoochun smirked.

“Aye that I have; and from the Fairy Queen herself!  Plucked from her breast while she slept upon her bower.  It wasn’t the only thing I plucked from her.”

The elven creature known as Yoochun licked his full, cherry red lips.

“You are wicked, Chunnie-ah.  She will be very angry.”

“Indeed she will.  But she will forgive me.  She always does.”

“I dare say no female in the forest is safe from you, Yoochun.”

Hearty laughter echoed through the tree tops, disturbing the silence of the night.  Our weary travelers jumped up from their fire pit, their weapons drawn.

“Wolves.”

“Not wolves, Yunho.  Spirits.”

The two humans looked at each other, and then laughed.  They lay down upon the ground, covered themselves in furs and drifted to sleep.

The two elven creatures climbed down from the great oaks and approached the humans with caution.  Yoochun sprinkled the sacred Fairy dust upon them and smiled wickedly.  They made their way back into the trees, melting into the forest like eerie specters of the night.  As they sat upon their makeshift nest high upon the canopy, they stared down upon their victims, now deep in slumber.

“What now?’

“Now we wait and see Minku.  We wait to see what fools these mortals be.”

The tale of two young elven sprites known as Yoochun and Changmin is widely known here in our kingdom.  Some say they are fierce hunters and protectors of their woodland realm.  Other stories portray them as blood thirsty killers, more animal than man; slaying humans for sport and then feasting upon their flesh.  But in truth friends, these two fantastical creatures are not much different than you and I.  They are as we; flesh and bone. Touch them, and they will feel; prick them, and they will bleed.  They eat, drink, sleep and make merry.  They breathe; their hearts beat. They are more human than you think……

“So what happens now Yoochun?”

“Magic happens Minku.  The dust will change them.  I’m not sure how.  But something will happen.”

Our hapless heroes, Yunho and Jaejong have become the victims of Yoochun’s prank.  The wicked elven sprite sprinkled the potent dust upon them as they slept.  Now hidden in the canopy, Yoochun and his accomplice Changmin await for the enchantment to unfold….

Dreams.  They filled Yunho’s head.  Jaejong was plagued with them as well.  But these were not nightmares.  Strange feelings gripped them as they slumbered.  A strange wave of warmth overflowed them.  They tossed and turned until their arms and legs were entwined within each other.  They awoke; startled at first to find themselves within each other’s embrace.  Yunho blushed; Jae too was flushed with heat.  From the safety of the trees, Yoochun grinned from ear to ear.

“This is better than I thought.”

“Yoochun are they falling in love?”

Yoochun licked his bee-stung lips and nodded his head at his companion.

“Yea, Minku.  They are.”

“Does this mean they are going to mate?”

Unsavory thoughts filled Yoochun’s wicked mind.  He turned once more to his good friend and replied.

“Tis certain Minku.  I could not have wished for better sport than this.”

Yoochun gripped a nearby tree branch; his knuckles white, his muscles tensed.  He could smell the humans; he could taste them.   As they kissed for the first time, his pulse raced like a startled deer…

“Yunnie…”

Jaejong moaned his friends name as the two humans kissed each other feverishly.  They stripped; their garb haphazardly strewn upon the forest floor.  Their toned bodies glowed in the light of the fire; Yunho encircling Jae with his strong arms. Jae’s full mouth pressed hard against Yunho’s lips; their tongues twisting and turning in a lustful dance.  Wrapping his legs around Yunho’s waist, he drew his friend in tight. With one great push, Yunho thrust his body deep inside of his lover; Jae arching his back in ecstasy. They grunted and groaned as Yunho continued his onslaught upon Jae’s insides…

Memories.  The site of the two humans entangled within each other brought back memories.    Yoochun closed his eyes and remembered; remembered the day he first laid eyes upon him…

The human struggled with his stubborn donkey through the forest.  The beast of burden refused to go any further.  But night was falling and his human master wanted to exit the enchanted woods before dark.  The donkey had other ideas. Frightened and alone, the human’s mind began to wander.

“I’m going to be killed for sure.”

Not far away, a bow was drawn; arrow aimed at the human’s pounding heart.  But the creature drawing the bow hesitated. Something stopped him from loosing his arrow.  Something magical…

Junsu froze as the creature approached him; bow drawn and aimed at his chest.  He trembled at the site of the ethereal being which seemed determined to end his life.  The elven sprite was taller than he, but not by much.  He was slender and an eerie light seemed to shine around him. Flowing dark hair reached to his shoulders and perfect collar bones.  His skin seemed so pale, like the winter moon.  Junsu shivered in the cold, his breath trailing out in front of him.  The elf wore only an animal skin loin cloth which barely covered his manhood; strings tied above his bony hips.  Despite being frightened to death, Junsu thought the elf was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen.

Junsu put his hands above his head to show he meant no harm, but his actions startled the creature who drew his bow even tighter. He closed his eyes and prepared to die, but nothing happened.  He blinked and flinched as the creature stood only inches away from him.  The elf had already put away his weapon; deciding that the human was harmless.  Junsu stood motionless as the creature reached out and touched him.  The magnificent being grasped handfuls of Junsu’s long hair and inhaled his scent.  Slender fingers touched the humans face; a thumb sweeping across his full lips.  Surprisingly delicate hands roamed across Junsu’s torso, stopping briefly to feel his heart thump hard beneath his chest.  A puzzled look appeared on the elf’s face.  Junsu gasped as a firm grip engulfed his sex.

“Male,” the creature hissed at Junsu.

Junsu nodded.

“Pretty male.”

Junsu blushed.

“Free to go.  Don’t come back.  Next time, you die.”

The elf slapped the donkey on its ass; the creature perked up and seemed to know it was time to go.  Junsu grabbed the reins, and as he encouraged his little donkey, he nodded to the elf and spoke.

“My name is Junsu.  I won’t enter your woods again.  I am sorry.”

Returning to the underbrush, the elf watched as the human disappeared from site.  He staggered backwards until his back pressed up against a tree.  His body shook; breaths ragged; heart pounding.  With shaking hands he fumbled with the strings of his loin cloth which fell and pooled around his ankles.  Falling to his knees, the elf took hold of his sex which was painfully erect.  He rubbed it hard and fast until his release came.  The woodland creature howled at the moon like a wild beast and pounded his fists in anger.  Curling up into a ball on the cold ground he shivered and wept.  Whimpering like a child, the human’s name escaped his lips.

“Junsu….”

Yoochun snapped out of his memories and once more stared at the humans as they continued to make love.  His young friend was not as amused as he.  Tired of watching Yunho and Jaejong mate, he turned his back and prepared to sleep; curling up in his bower made of branches and leaves.

“What’s the matter Minku?  Stay and watch.”

“I’m bored.  I’m tired of watching those filthy animals mate.”

Yoochun was startled and surprisingly angered by his friend’s words.  He turned to Changmin and glared at him with his dark eyes.

“Animals?  Is that what you think they are?”

“Aren’t they?  Isn’t that why we chase them?  They are a blight upon our land.  They come here and steal our food and cut our trees.  They should be hunted down and killed, not made to fuck each other by magical dust.”

A slender hand cracked Changmin across the face; a trickle of blood appearing at the corner of his mouth

“I hate you Chunnie-ah.  You are so stupid.  You always act before you think.  You are an animal, just like those two down there.  Go on.  Go watch your humans mate.  I don’t care.  Tomorrow I will kill them both with my bare hands.”

“Minku?  I’m sorry.”

A slender hand reached to brush the trickle away, but Changmin avoided the touch.

“Minku please?”

Changmin turned his back on his friend.  He could hear Yoochun sniffling.

“Your tears do not move me, Chunnie-ah.  Save them for the Fairy Queen.  You will need them when I tell her what mischief you have done this day.”

He turned his back upon his friend and fell asleep.  Yoochun sat weeping; tears streaming from his dark, exotic eyes. They trailed down his high cheek bones and dribbled past his trembling lips.  He stared at his hands, still stained with the magical dust.

“Dust,” he mumbled to himself.  “Fairy dust.”

Slender fingers pulled forth the tiny pouch from his simple garment.  He opened it, releasing the golden glow.  He wiped his tears and looked at his friend now deep in slumber.

“Enough,” he whispered.  “Just enough,” as he tossed the remainder of the magical concoction into the air, smiling with glee as it rained down upon him and a snoring Changmin.

“We shall see who is an animal Minku.  On the morrow we shall see.”

The humans jumped to their feet as shower of arrows rained down upon them.  They drew their weapons and stood their ground; back to back, their naked bodies illuminated by the flickering fire light.  Strangely, the arrows stopped falling.  Jae and Yunho were unscathed; it was as if the arrows were meant to frighten them, not harm them.  They grasped each others hands and waited for the next attack. But the arrows never fell.  Instead, he came.  From the depths of the primordial forest, a creature born of legend strode into their camp, swaggering as if he owned the world.  The two humans stood motionless; not sure if they should attack or wait for the elf to make the next move.  With their weapons still poised in their hands, the humans watched in wonderment as the ethereal creature stared them down.

A small bit of cooked meat still hung on a spit over the fire.  The elf sniffed it and took a piece.

“Rabbit,” he said in a low raspy voice.  “Good.”

Jaejong and Yunho looked at each other as the elf continued to feast upon their evening meal.  The creature rummaged through their belongings tossing things this way and that.  Satisfied there was nothing of any value, the elf picked up a linen shirt.  He brought it to his nose and inhaled deeply.

“Jaejong,” he breathed, the scent of the pretty one filling his lungs.  He tossed the shirt to Jae who caught it in mid air; his face conveying shock and surprise.  Yunho’s turn was next; the creature repeating the ritual.

“Go now,” he growled at them.  “Leave or die.”

The humans obeyed his wishes.  They dressed themselves quickly and packed their things.  Yunho put out the fire, but not before the elf absconded with the remainder of the cooked rabbit.  He tore off another morsel and waved at them to go. They practically ran out of the forest.

“Did you see that?”

“Don’t be an idiot, Jae, I was right there.”

Jae sighed.

“That’s not what I meant.  Did you see how he looked?  He was hard Yunho.  It was as plain as day.  I could see it through his loin cloth.  He was stiff.”

“Really?  I was too frightened to notice.  Do you think it was because we were naked?”

Jae shrugged his shoulders.

“Maybe he saw us make love and became aroused.”

Yunho raised an eyebrow.

“That’s rich!  An elf aroused by two humans making passionate love!”

The two lovers laughed as they walked on, their near death experience almost forgotten.

As they faded from view, the elf spat out the remainder of the rabbit.  He angrily tossed the carcass deep into the woods. He kicked what remained of the fire pit and cursed to himself.  Gathering up his arrows he made his way back to his bower where his friend still slumbered, unaware of the mischief that just occurred.

The effects of the fairy dust were driving Yoochun mad.  He was unable to sleep.  The thought of Changmin killing the humans worried him.  He took a gamble and let them go.  Changmin would be angry, but Yoochun was willing to accept whatever punishment his friend would give him.  As he lay down in the bower, the full effect of the magical dust took its toll.  Yoochun’s erection was so painful, that he undressed himself and began to stroke his rigid length.  He leaned his body up against Changmin, the heat of his beloved Minku’s skin making his condition worse.  His thoughts turned to Junsu; the lovely human he let get away; the beautiful man who stirred his loins and broke his heart.  Instinctively, Yoochun wrapped his arms and legs around Changmin’s body, causing his friend to stir.  Changmin, being the genius that he was, knew that something was wrong.

“Yoochun, what is going on?”

His friend’s body shook like a leaf.  He panted like a dog; rocking his body back and forth; the swollen tip of his arousal brushing up against Changmin’s skin.

“I see what’s going on, but I don’t believe it.  By the Fairy Queen’s wings Yoochun, what evil spirit possesses you?”

“Help me Minku,” he whimpered.  It hurts so much; it burns.”

Yoochun arched his back as he grabbed his sex; stroking it in a desperate attempt to ease his pain.

“I’ll take you to the Fairy Queen.  She’ll help us.”

Yoochun shook his head as he gasped for air.

“No Minku,” he moaned.  “I am beyond her help.  She cannot quench the fire that burns inside me.  I need you Minku.  I need you.”

Changmin gulped.  His eyes grew wide with fear.  As the moon reached its zenith, it illuminated Yoochun, revealing the reason for his madness. The sacred golden dust saturated Yoochun’s skin.  Looking at his own hands in the moonlight, Changmin realized that he too was covered with the magical substance.

“Damn you Chunnie-ah,” he cursed his friend.  “What in the name of all the Gods were you thinking?  Are you that stupid? Now we will both be punished.”

Yoochun wept like a small child.  His free hand reached out and took hold of Changmin’s long locks.  He pulled himself up and buried his head in the crook of the youngster’s neck.  Changmin flinched as Yoochun’s soft, full lips began to suck upon his throat.

“Minku, Minku,” he moaned over and over again as his blood pulsed through his arousal making him groan in pain.

“I’ll get you a female Chunnie-ah.  You’ll feel better after you’ve had your way with her.”

Yoochun shook his head.

“No.  I don’t want a female.  Not now.  Not ever.  I want you Minku.”

Changmin scowled.

“You stupid idiot,” he screamed; his voice shattering the night.  “Look what you have done.”

He pulled himself away from Yoochun and prepared to leave the bower.

“Where are you going?” Yoochun asked him through gritted teeth.

“I’m leaving you.  I’ve had enough of this nonsense.  I’m going to beg forgiveness of the Fairy Queen.  You should do the same.  But first, take care of that.”

Changmin pointed to Yoochun’s arousal.

“Get yourself a female or fuck yourself.  I don’t care.  Once you’ve spilled your seed you’ll feel better.”

“Don’t leave me, I beg you.”

“You are pathetic.  I don’t know why I even bother with you.”

Changmin began to climb down the tree.

“Wait,” Yoochun cried out to him.  I’m coming with you.”

“Get dressed Chunnie-ah.  If you are not going to polish your weapon, at least sheath it.”

Yoochun hastily dressed himself; fumbling with the ties and gingerly tucking his engorged length within his loin cloth.  He followed Changmin down to the forest floor.

They came across the abandoned human campsite, disappointment evident on Changmin’s face.

“And I suppose you let them go, didn’t you?”

Yoochun narrowed his eyes at Changmin.

Changmin moved quickly through the woods, taking long strides.  Normally fleet of foot, Yoochun could barely keep up with him.  He waddled more than walked because of his great distress.  Minutes passed by and Yoochun had had enough.

“I can’t go on,” he panted while leaning up against a tree.

“Then take care of yourself now.  I tire of you and your swollen cock.”

Yoochun growled at his friend.

“You ungrateful whelp,” Yoochun bellowed.  “You were nothing before you met me.  I made you strong.  The thought of killing humans made you piss yourself.  The first time you saw blood you fainted like an old woman.”

Changmin lashed out with his fists, Yoochun falling to the ground.  He wiped the trickle of blood from his nose.

“We are even now, Chunnie-ah.”

“That’s what you think.”

Yoochun lunged at Changmin and knocked him to the ground, his anger making him forget his discomfort.  The two began to fight as if they meant each other harm.  Yoochun yanked handfuls of Changmins hair, the youngster retaliating by biting hard on Yoochun’s neck, drawing blood.

“If that’s permanent I will slay thee, whelp.”

They wrestled each other using skills they honed since childhood; but they went too far; kicking, biting scratching and pounding into each other like wild beasts. They beat each other into submission until they were bruised and bloodied.  No longer able to continue, they broke off the fight; exhausted, they lay upon the ground trying to catch their breath.  They sat up and looked at each other.  They were a mess.

“We can’t see the Fairy Queen now,” Yoochun wheezed.

“I suppose you are happy about that huh?”

They laughed at each other despite their pain.

“What now?”

“Hot spring.”

They raced through the woods, one flying after the other until they reached the grotto of the hot spring.    They undressed themselves and dove in; the warm water soothing their cuts and bruises.   They played like children; splashing and dunking each other; racing each other to see who was the fastest.  They swam ashore and sat at the banks; staring at the sky now poked with stars.  A lone wolf cried in the distance; they mimicked it and howled at the moon.

“I see your problem hasn’t gone away,” Changmin advised Yoochun whose arousal was still evident.

“Apparently the magic of the hot spring is stronger than the fairy dust.”

Changmin stared at his body and blushed.  He reached down and touched his now rigid length.

“Where the Hell did that come from?”

The two stared at each other and sighed.

“I’ve never loved a male before,” Changmin exclaimed.

“Nor I.”

“We’ll be banished for sure.”

Yoochun shook his head.

“No Minku.  Banishment is a death sentence.  We cannot live outside our realm.”

Changmin laughed.

“Don’t be silly.  We are immortal.”

“No.  We are vulnerable.  No one speaks of it, but I know the truth.  Have you ever wondered why the humans can enter our world, but it is forbidden for us to leave?  Death, Changmin.  We cannot live outside the forest.  Their world is poisonous to us.  We are the weaker species, though no one dare admit it.  I’ve seen it with my own eyes.  One of us tried to leave and was struck down instantly.  I was too young to help.  It was all kept secret.  Only the Fairy Queen and a few others know.”

“I don’t believe you.”

Yoochun smiled.

“Follow me and I will show you.”

They dressed and walked to the edge of the forest.  Yoochun took a deep breath and stepped out of the woods into the land of the humans.

“Come back Yoochun.  It’s forbidden.”

“Wait and see Minku.  Wait and see.  I’ll show you.  I’m going to die.”

Changmin was frightened.

“No games Yoochun.  This isn’t funny.”

“If you love me Minku you will rescue me.  You will risk your own life to save mine.”

The poisonous air of the human world instantly made Yoochun unwell.  His throat began to close; his lungs constricting. He could not breathe.  Changmin saw it too.

“Come back Chunnie-ah,” he cried, but it was too late.

Yoochun’s heart pounded out of control; the beats erratic and rapid like the beating of humming bird’s wings.  He collapsed to the ground in a lifeless heap.   Without any regard for his own life, Changmin rushed out and dragged Yoochun back to the safety of the forest; ignoring his own pain as he did.  Breathless and affected by the poison air, he coughed violently until he could breathe.

“Chunnie-ah,” he cried as he examined his friend.

“Wake up.  Wake up.”

But Yoochun did not stir.

Changmin placed his hand over Yoochun’s chest, but felt nothing.  He listened long and hard to Yoochun’s heart, but there was no sound.

“I cannot hear your life,” he wept.  “Don’t leave me.  I beg you.  I love you Chunnie-ah.  Your Minku loves you.”

Changmin held onto Yoochun tightly, his tears flowing freely from his eyes.  Suddenly, Yoochun’s body shuddered as his heart restarted with an angry thump.  He screamed out loud as air returned to his lungs.  Changmin held him tightly; whispering soft words in his ear; reassuring him that he was safe.

“Did it happen?” he gasped.  “Did I die?”

Changmin frowned.

“You stupid idiot!”

Yoochun smiled.

“But I’m your stupid idiot, huh Minku?”

Changmin’s body trembled.  He leaned in to Yoochun and kissed him gently.

“I love you, my stupid idiot.”

“Minku…”

They kissed each other sweetly at first, then hard and fast.  They moaned each others names into their mouths; their tongues teasing; licking, mouths sucking, teeth nipping at each other playfully.  They touched and stroked each other; hands and fingers caressing and exploring every inch of their bodies.  Yoochun’s skin flushed as his beloved Minku planted gentle kisses upon his slender torso.

“You are so thin,” Changmin whispered as he pulled the strings of Yoochun’s loin cloth, exposing his rigid sex.

Yoochun mewled as Changmin stroked his velvety hardness, his fingers tracing the line of the great vein which pulsed beneath his skin.  Changmin gently pinched the head of his sex between his thumb and forefinger; his fist sliding slowly up and down his ample girth.  Yoochun bit his lip as Changmin’s tongue dipped playfully in his slit then glided back and forth across the underside of his length; his hands now cupping the sensitive skin at the base.

“Minku,” he moaned as Changmin’s full lips engulfed him to the hilt, saliva dripping down his side getting him slick and wet.

Yoochun’s body trembled as he watched Changmin disrobe.

“You are so big Minku.”

Changmin smirked.

“Does that frighten you, Chunnie-ah?”

Yoochun shook his head.

“I’ll be gentle, I promise.  Just like a female on her first time.”

Yoochun grinned.

“Virgins are best, aren’t they Minku?”

The lovers laughed heartily.  They were both nervous, but they didn’t want to admit it.

Changmin sucked upon his own fingers getting them wet.  Instinctively, Yoochun spread his legs and waited for Changmin to stretch him out.  His heart lurched as Changmin invaded his body; first one, then two, and finally a third finger found their way inside him.  Tears fell from Yoochun’s eyes as his beloved Minku prepared him for his ultimate sacrifice.

“Am I hurting you Chunnie-ah?

Yoochun shook his head, his thighs shaking as Changmin continued to torment him.

Yoochun reminded himself to breathe as Changmins fingers slid out of his opening.   The youngster stroked himself and watched the fear in Yoochun’s eyes.

“Kiss it,” he entreated Yoochun.  “Get me wet.”

Yoochun licked the head of Changmin’s cock; he spit upon it to coat it with his saliva.

He braced himself as Changmin positioned his body at his opening.

“I’m sorry Chunnie-ah,” Changmin whispered.

Yoochun closed his eyes and held his breath as he felt Changmin’s head press against his hole.  With one great push, Changmin thrust himself inside his lovers body; Yoochun’s breath hitched; heart stopped then started again.  He cried out his lover’s name, breaking the silence of the night.

“Minku!”

Changmin held him fast; his body moving in a slow and steady rhythm.  Yoochun slumped against him, taking deep breaths until his body accommodated to the invasion.  As the moments passed, Yoochun’s hips moved forward in time with Changmin’s thrusts.  He wrapped his legs around Changmin’s waist and pulled him in tightly.  Yoochun’s cock twitched and throbbed as it rubbed up against Changmin’s flesh.

“I’m coming Minku,” he exclaimed breathlessly as he felt the fluid weep from the tip of his sex.  He exploded in a great burst; seed coating Changmin’s chest and belly as he cried out.

Changmin grunted like an animal as he spilled; his body bucking forward as his release came.

They held on to each other tightly; neither daring to speak.  The pale moon light illuminated their bodies now slick with sweat.  As they recovered, they returned to their simple bower high above the treetops.  Their arms and legs entwined within each other, Yoochun nuzzled his beloved Minku.  He could not sleep however; his thoughts turned to Junsu, the human who had stirred his loins and broken his heart.  Changmin sensed uneasiness in his lover, but did not pry.  The past two days had been rough on them both.  As they drifted to sleep, Yoochun resolved to tell Changmin the truth.

“Is that him?”

“Yes.”

Junsu pulled his stubborn donkey by the reins.  Having to circumnavigate the enchanted woods was an inconvenience for the merchant, but he had made a promise never to trespass upon the magical forest again.

Changmin felt a twinge of guilt as he watched tears fall from his lovers eyes.

“You did the right thing Chunnie-ah.  You could never be with him.  He is human.  You cannot live in his world.  We are elven kind; immortal.  We will remain young and beautiful for eternity.  Even if he stayed here with us, he would still grow old and die.”

Changmin held Yoochun tight until his sobs subsided.

“Come.  We have bigger problems.  We must beg forgiveness of the Fairy Queen.”

“It’s my fault, not yours.  You will be fine.”

“Yes.  I may be a fool for loving you, but at least I’m not an idiot.”

“But I’m your idiot, aren’t I Minku?”

The two elves laughed heartily as they melted into the forest, Yoochun divulging to Changmin his plan to avoid punishment from the Fairy Queen.

“That will never work, you idiot…..”
