Yahoo mail is a free web based email service provided by Yahoo for users around the world. Yahoo mail provides various features which include online storage of files, sending or receiving emails as well as send or receive files as attachment. To access the features of Yahoo mail, first you need to sign up a Yahoo account and sign in to Yahoo mail using following steps.
Steps to sign in to Yahoo mail:
Step 1: First of all, open an internet browser on your computer.
Step 2: Now on the address bar of your internet browser, enter the site “www.yahoomail.com”.
This will open up the Yahoo mail login page.
Step 3: Now, below the “Sign in” text on the left side of the page, enter your complete Yahoo email address.
Step 4: You can either check or uncheck the “Stay signed in” option below the “Next” button.
It is recommended to check the option only if you are singing in your personal computer.
Step 5: Click on the “Next” button once you have entered your email address.
Step 5: On the next page enter the password associated with your Yahoo mail address.
Take caution while you enter the password because passwords used to sign in to yahoo mail are case sensitive.
If you have lost or forgotten the associated password, then click on the “Forgot password?” button. Then, go through the steps below.
Step 6: Finally click on the “Sign in” button.
To recover your forgotten password:
In the “Password” page, click on the “Forgot password?” link.
Then, check your email address and correct it if necessary then click on the “Continue” button.
To prove that you are not a robot, enter the code that you see on the image and click on “Submit” button.
If the code is not understandable, click on the “Try a new code” button.
But if you wish to enter the code by listening to the code click on the “Audio code” button and enter the code.
Check the email address and enter the missing digits of your mobile number for security purposes and click “Submit”.
Then on the next page, click “Yes, text me a code” button if you have access to your phone to receive the verification code.
But if you don’t remember your mobile number click “No, I don’t know the digits” and follow the procedure.
The latter option will get you to alternative way, if available, for account recovery.
Once you have received the verification code, enter in on the page and click “Verify”.
If you did not receive any code, click on the “Re-send” button.
Then click on the “Continue” button to sign in to Yahoo mail temporarily without changing password.
Click at the “Create a new password” button if you wish to change your password.
Now on the next page, select a suitable password and enter it on the “New password” and “Confirm new password” text box.
Use the “show password” button to make the password you have entered visible.
Finally, click on “Continue” button to permanently change your Yahoo mail password.
Then, again click on “Continue” button to sign in to Yahoo mail.
