Requirement details:
_Sr Software Engineer\- Java, J2EE, MySQL, concurrent programming, distributed computing, Solr/ElasticSearch, development using agile methodology\._
_You will be a member of a Product Engineering team delivering on the strategic road\-map of an enterprise scale product\. The team imbibes Agile Values and Principles\. You will work with cross functional teams within engineering, product management, customer and usability groups\. You'll have the opportunity to develop thorough understanding of eDiscovery domain and influence product road\-map\. _Details:_
_Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a strong academic record \(BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, MS etc\.\)\._
_Must have’s:_
_6\+ years of software development experience in an individual contributor role\._
_Hands on experience in core Java, J2EE, JDBC, Apache Tomcat, Struts, Hibernate, MySQL, Solr/ElasticSearch etc\._
_Hands on experience with concurrent programming, scale\-out distributed systems and test\-driven development practices\._
_Experience with distributed computing technologies and data structures and algorithms for data mining, processing and indexing large amounts of structured and unstructured data\._
_Demonstrable design skills and use of object oriented concepts in solving complex problems\._
_Experience in working in Agile scrum teams\._
_Proven track record of being a self\-motivated individual with strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills\._
_Experience with building high\-quality software based upon architectural specifications\._
_Good to have:_
_Experience in development and performance optimization of web applications, server components, database and web services using relevant tools such as Java debugger, SQL plans, YourKit, windows performance monitor etc is a plus\._
_Experience with search and retrieval of data using ElasticSearch/ Cassandra/other NoSQL databases\._
_Excellent written and verbal communication skills\._
_Responsibilities:_
_Work as an individual contributor in an Agile scrum team responsible for enterprise scale product supporting distributed architecture\._
_Provide inputs during design; During execution refactor/ develop new code, and write unit/system/integration tests\._
_Develop software for usability, scale, performance, reliability, manageability, automation and supportability\._
_Collaborate with various disciplines within engineering and outside such as architecture team, product management, User experience, tech support and come up with innovative solutions\._
_Work with support and customer\-engineering to resolve escalations when needed\._
_Facilitate technical decisions; incorporate feedback and emergent patterns; ensure technical cohesion in product architecture\._
_Collaborate with management and work with peers and senior team members to help adopt agile development methodology in a distributed team_
_Develop broad product and domain knowhow as well as deep subject matter expertise in parts of the product\._
_Help the team develop a culture of continuous improvement and bias for action\._
