Oracle Cloud for Industry (OCI) delivers the
portfolio of Global Industry focused solutions by partnering with Oracle Global
Business Units (GBUs) to identify and deliver strategic cloud solutions in a
timely, scalable, predictable, secure manner - decreasing cost and
increasing flexibility to absorb acquisitions, capitalize on new opportunities
and hit aggressive business revenue targets. Join the OCI Program Management
Office (PMO) as a Principal Technical Program Manager to leverage technology
and value added processes and tools to provide project portfolio management, resource
management, best practices and process, analysis and reporting, and knowledge
sharing.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Effectivelymanage project scope, timelines, budgets and customer expectations
+ Coordinate all aspects of OracleCloud for Industry projects from initiation to delivery, involving network,server, software installation/configuration, software upgrades, run timemanagement, costing, monitoring, backs ups, and disaster recovery.
+ Collaborate with OCI team and various cross functionalteams from Security, Audit & Compliance, GBU Product Strategy, GBU ProductDevelopment, GBU Product Support, Oracle Consulting Services to ensuresuccessful transition of Cloud Service to run time operations
+ Provideproject leadership through all phases of the project lifecycle
+ Improve Quality via Technical and PeerReviews
+ Improve the collective learning experiencethrough the development and use of Central Knowledge Management system with afocus on technical complexity
+ Definenew best practices, processes and tools to deliver on the business plan forhosting cloud-based products in the Oracle Cloud for Industry data centers.
+ Collaboratewith OCI and GBU teams to integrate various methodologies SDLC, Waterfall,Agile
+ Drive culture of innovation, transparency, achievement andaccountability
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,Engineering or related technical field
+ Minimum of 10 years ProgramManagement experience required in a best-in class project managementorganization
+ Experience in clouddelivery models, data center operations, infrastructure and engineering, andenterprise systems
+ Understanding ofinfrastructure design practices, operations, standards and frameworks
+ Experience in PMO managing largescale projects across various geographic locations and cross functional teams
+ Results oriented with strong technical problem solving, influencing,consensus building and negotiating skills
+ Ability to learn quickly and adjust tochanging priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
+ Comfortablediscussing technical concepts with business people and business concepts withtechnical people. Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reachbroader audiences.
+ Experience with Portfolio and ProjectManagement Tools required i.e. Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, JIRA,Agile Project Management Tools
+ ITIL Certification
+ Agile Methodology, Certified SCRUMMaster
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificationis a plus
**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.
Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
