Aerospace: Honeywell Aerospace has been supporting India’s defense, civil aerospace and automobile industries for more than 40 years. Each of the four business units is present in India:

Automation and Control Solutions (ACS): Honeywell ACS has been making Indian homes, offices and industrial facilities safer, secure, energy efficient and productive for more than 25 years. All of ACS’ seven business units are present in India:
1. Building Solutions: Security, safety, environment control, and energy efficiency solutions
2. Environmental and Combustion Controls: HVAC, building management systems, combustion control, wiring, lighting controls
3. Security Group: Video and IP surveillance, access control, intrusion detection
4. Fire Safety: Fire detection and alarm systems
5. Industrial Safety: Personal protective equipment and gas detection systems
6. Sensing & Productivity Solutions: Electronic sensing and electromechanical switching products; Image and laser-based data collection hardware like rugged mobile computers and bar code scanners

Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT): Honeywell PMT has been a leader in developing and manufacturing advanced materials and process technologies in India for more than 80 years, and is an industry leader in automation control, instrumentation and services. All five business units are in India:
1. Process Solutions: Integrated industrial process automation and control solutions for oil and gas; refining; pulp and paper; industrial power generation; chemicals and petrochemicals; biofuels; life sciences; and metals, minerals and mining industries
2. UOP: Processing technologies, catalysts and adsorbents, and equipment and technical services for the refining, petrochemicals, gas and renewables industries
3. Fluorine Products: Zero ozone-depleting potential refrigerants and blowing agents
4. Specialty Products: Advanced fibers and composites, medical packaging, asphalt polymers and electronic materials
5. Resins and Chemicals: Nylon resins, intermediate chemicals and caprolactam

Shared Services: As part of Functional Transformation, key functions and businesses viz. HR, Finance, Procurement, Marcom, Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) Sales & Marketing support , have set up shared services in India that support respective functions and businesses globally. The Shared Services allow the organization to standardize the processes and optimize on resources in various geographies. The India Hub of Shared Services is largest in terms of people and scope of operations performed.
Honeywell Global Finance Center (HGFC): As part of the Functional Transformation Global Finance function has re-organized itself on functional lines (Centers of Excellence) and geographic hubs. The Bangalore hub is also responsible for Governance of out-sourcing partner. The HGFC center in Bangalore has 400 resources that perform high end Controllership function, provide FP&A Support and Customer to Cash functions.
HR Services (HRS): The HRS Hub in Bangalore is responsible for providing Operations Support (Data Management), Payroll Operations and Operational Excellence Services to the HR function in Asia Pacific and EMEA region. The HRS organization has 200 resources based in Bangalore
Procurement Services (GPS): The Global Procurement Services organizations has 280 resources and has operations in India, China and Romania. It supports both Direct and Indirect procurement Buying, E-auctions, Analytics, Process support for all Honeywell SBG’s across all regions. The team works closely with the global procurement COE’s and is aligned with the Global Corporate Procurement Function.
Marcom COE: The Marcom COE has 55 resources with teams across India & Romania, it supports cross business Marcom activities in Creative Design, Digital, Content , PR & Events. This team is part of Honeywell Corporate Communications globally.
HPS S&M COE: The HPS S&M COE has 57 resources with teams across India & Romania, it supports the business for Market Research, Product Marketing, Pricing, Sales Support, eLearning.

The Business:
Shared Services in Honeywell are organized along functional & business lines. This role will support the GPS, HPS S&M and Marcom organizations. The teams are based out of Bangalore and Gurgaon.
The role:
The HR Manager role for this team provides overall HR leadership for teams located in India. The successful candidate will drive talent management initiatives and focus on building high performance culture across the three shared services spectrum. The candidate will report directly to the HR Director - India Shared Services and work closely with HR COE leaders in India and functional leaders globally.
The incumbent is expected to provide a broad range of strategic HR support for achieving functional transformation objectives, including talent management (assessment, acquisition, development and redeployment), organizational effectiveness (change management, leader effectiveness, organization design), and employee engagement (communications, employee relations, facilitation of rewards and recognition, employee involvement).
Responsibilities:
• Deploy pan India HR Initiatives as required using local, regional and One Country HR resources.
• Provide prioritization, leadership and focus to drive organization development through Staffing, OD and Compensation initiatives in partnership with India CoE’s.
• Ensure the Honeywell ‘one country HR model’ is aligned to the Organizations functional strategy and delivers results to support the teams.
• Take ownership for development and implementation of organizational talent strategy and planning in conjunction with Functional HR Leaders and Global Human Resource Organization leaders, partner in cross team MRR (Management Resource Review) and talent development initiatives.
• Provide executive coaching and strategic HR support to the business leaders; drive engagement model (sitting on LT meetings, MOS).
• Leadership direction (MOS) for regional business and one country HR team and processes, in partnership with global, Functional and COE HR leaders, including talent management, organization design, succession planning, learning, labor relations strategy and compensation strategy and planning
• Develop succession planning for leadership and critical roles.
• Own and lead HR performance improvement metrics for the organizations in India including PER, OEF, census, staffing cycle times, etc.
• Single point of HR contact for the GPS, HPS S&M and Marcom COE’s.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree strongly preferred. A concentration in Labour Relations, Human Resources, Organization Development, Learning, or related discipline also preferred. Previous progressive professional Human Resources experience including prior leadership/management roles, site HR experience, and experience supporting regional client groups is required.
