Overview
Enterprise Architecture team provides data and integration services across multiple technology domains within MasterCard Technologies
Capabilities supported include Master Data Management, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Transformation, Data Governance and various other enterprise level data integration and information management capabilities
Engineer position will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions\.
Assists with the creation of documentation such as user guides and software development guides for less\-complex projects
Assists senior team members in the development of web applications, system to system interfaces and complete software solutions
Significant code development and day\-to\-day support duties

Role:
Engineer position will support full systems development life cycle for enterprise information management services team\.
Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies and frameworks\. Bring innovative new thoughts and ideas to team and help facilitate ideation with team members at various levels\.
Support senior technical team in PoCs \(Proof of Concept\) and help the Department with selection of Vendor Solutions, Technologies, Methodologies and Frameworks\. Collaborate with Vendor Resources for Support of Products\.
Follow and promote Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes in the department\. Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency\. Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing and Performance Testing\. Support senior technical team with Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs throughout the SDLC including Requirements Review, Design Review, Code Review and Security Review to ensure compliance with MasterCard standards\.
Partner with globally distributed team to collaborate on day to day activities\.

Basic knowledge in ETL development, SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting
Candidate will have understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment practices
Base understanding of web based application infrastructure and cloud based environment\.
ETL, IDQ, Power center development experience preferred
Experience and/or understand of multiple back end database technologies
Understanding of information management and data governance concepts preferred\.
Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts
