**Responsibilities:**
+ Helps teams define & implement a technological solution within the total context (platform vision, product priorities, roadmaps, ...)
+ Responsible for entire service including Security & Privacy integrity. Works closely with the lead architect of the service for the same.
+ Work closely and provides inputs to the Product team to define the backlog,
+ Breaks down architecture block / EPICs to features
+ Estimate and layout dependencies for architectural blocks
+ Design any required migration paths
+ Designs Deployment & Operational models (incl enterprise access & multi-tenancy models ), Layout all deployment/ operational dependencies for the product
+ Define Acceptance Test for nonfunctional requirements; performance, reliability, scalability, integration, standards, applications.
+ Defines, reviews and accepts APIs
+ Ensure Code and Code Review quality
+ Work with development teams to realize architecture
+ Key contributor to release planning
+ Continuously Review Quality & Reduce Technical Debt
+ Ensure a groomed Backlog prior to Release planning (incl Product & Arch runway)
+ Review / Accept Low Level Design (LLDD), operations and maintenance guide, Installation guide for the platform
**Education Qualification:**
a) Bachelor of Engineering.......(must have)
b) Big data certifications (e.g. Cloudera developer, admin etc)....(preferred)
**Work Experience:**
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ Solid experience in designing architecture of complete products or sub systems
+ Production expertise in the Hadoop ecosystem with some background in data computing/data warehousing
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience as an architect in Big data environments.
+ Experience in technical management of product/programs
+ Experience in state of the art software engineering methods and processes
+ Domain knowledge preferable and expected to acquire it in a short period of time
+ Preferred experience on building big data /analytics platforms
+ Experience working in Agile environments preferred
**Key Skills/Competencies:**
+ Excellent technical skills in Architecting and Designing SW with a hands-on approach to help the teams deliver successfully
+ Ability to translate product requirements into architectural and design artefacts
+ Well versed in technologies like Java, Big data (e.g. Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Scala, Yarn Hive etc), Data modelling, REST APIs design
+ Ability to scale up and communicate from abstract concepts to implementation, which also involves getting the implementation (design and code) from the team
+ Drive for results with a clear focus on quality and timeliness
+ Ability to improve the team’s competency and results consistently (coaching and mentoring)
+ Strong technical leadership and communication skills
+ Healthcare experience or exposure preferred
+ Should be a strong team player/collaborator
+ Agile SA certified(preferable)
