Cisco seeks a Virtual Systems Engineer with specialization in Collaboration (Unified Communications, Conferencing, Collaboration endpoints) at Bangalore, Mumbai or Delhi, (India) to provide technical leadership and guidance to teams in support of pre-sales efforts.
In this role, it is expected to deliver the value and capabilities of Unified Communications, Conferencing, Collaboration endpoints, interacting closely with the field and partner community to drive successful execution, and helping them offering right system engineering resources at the right time

* What You'll Do*
The Virtual Systems Engineer is responsible owning all aspects of technical pre-sales for providing deep technical coverage for the overall Collaboration Technologies.
The engineer will be required to work as a part of global virtual team and delivery support leveraging Cisco collaboration technologies like telepresence, webex and Desktop Video Conferencing solutions.

The main responsibilities are:

¥ Engage in technical discussions and presentations articulating the business and technical value of Collaboration technology
¥ Design and delivery Collaboration solutions towards customer & partner pre-sales requests.

¥ Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities
¥ Provide training and Coaching to the early in carrier engineers across Collaboration offering.

¥ Provide technical and consultative sales support.

¥ Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects
¥ Help the Account Team and customer ensure technical initiatives tie into the customer's strategy and goals
¥ Maintain collaborative relationships with Channel partners and ecosystem partners
¥ Establish collaborate relationships with internal resources such as Business Units, Customer Advocacy Sales and Delivery, and SE technical specialists
¥ Maintain expertise in relevant competitive solutions, products and services
¥ Actively participate as a Collaboration specialist in Virtual Teams and provide consultative support at times.

This candidate must work well as part of the virtual team and understand organization’s engagement model and how partners play a key role for success."

* Who You Are*
The candidate should:
¥ Demonstrate deep technical expertise across Collaboration technology (Unified Communications, Conferencing, Collaboration endpoints) portfolio and articulate business relevance
¥ Have a strong expertise in Cisco Collaboration solutions, including Call control, Messaging, Virtualization, Desktop Endpoint &soft clients, VoIP, UC applications and Webex, HCS cloud collaboration.

¥ Understand Collaboration technology deployment models and adjacencies (including Network Programmability)
¥ Have a strong command of the competitive landscape and competitive vendor strengths and weaknesses
¥ Demonstrate broad understanding of the other elements across the collaboration framework
¥ Demonstrate clear awareness of the collaboration marketplace, trends & transition
¥ Understand and can articulate Cisco’s vision, strategy and architectural approach to Collaboration technology
¥ Ability to communicate at a wide range of technical levels, from the deep dive engineering discussion to higher level visionary ideas illustrating the value a Cisco network brings to the customer
¥ Must be fluent in English
¥ Preferable to have Collaboration certifications like CCDP, CCNP, CCIE certification etc."
