**Role Summary/Purpose**

Serve as a key IT liaison & business relationship manager between the ISDS program teams, the Regions, the P&L Services teams for those respective regions. The leader will own responsibility for their data conversion,data operations strategies, prioritization of projects; success &value realization of all regional data deployments, alignment of regionally driven activities. In addition to the responsibilities of the Data Pod leadership, this role will also serve as the SHS Regional Deploy Leader

**Essential Responsibilities**

Imaging & Services Digital Solutions (ISDS) is an established team which will work with the functions to drive solutions that meet business imperatives. Through business process improvement, business analytics, solution delivery and integration, ISDS will enable realization of business value.

The Global Data Pod Leader will serve as a member of the ISDS Global Deployment leadership team reporting to the ISDS Global Deployment Leader.

The Global Data Pod Leader will serve as a key IT liaison and business relationship manager between the ISDS program teams, the Regions, and the P&L Services teams for those respective regions. The leader will own responsibility for their data conversion and data operations strategies, prioritization of projects; success and value realization of all regional data deployments, and alignment of regionally driven activities. This leader will also work with the ISDS Global Analytics team; to help define future data needs, based on current data operational needs.

In addition to the responsibilities of the Data Pod leadership, this role will also serve as the SHS Regional Deploy leader. These responsibilities include ensuring priority alignment across the SHS region for Imaging and Service to those with ISDS. Key stakeholders include the regional Service GM and regional ITPE CIO.

Since the Global Data Pod Leader’s team will represent the areas where revenue, customer satisfaction and value is derived, this role and the people that report to it will be very critical to the overall success of Imaging Services. As such, the leadership of a diverse team, strategic thinking, executive presence/communications, collaboration, and accountability for results must be a proven capability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Define and Operationalize the Global Data Pod model, supporting P&L and Regional data needs as it relates to future deployments, retirements, and ongoing operational data requirements.

• Establishes and manages productive and positive client relationships with both ISDS program team and directly with the regions, and the region’s P&Ls while leading and partnering in development of IT initiatives for area of responsibility

• Work closely with product engineering (delivery) to ensure local functional data readiness for solutions, understanding and taking accountability for functional data deployment decision making.

• In coordination with the PMO team, responsible for program budgets and/or cost centers, resource allocation and planning within functional area to ensure delivery of business benefits

• Responsible for key activities required to ensure local solution planning deployment, including, but not limited to:

o Prioritization and alignment of regional driven activities

o Local data model/conversion requirements gathering/facilitation

o Support ongoing data operational needs for the respective regions

o Relevant data cleansing and load

o Physical verification test and UAT

o Support post-go live data reporting, cleansing, and support activities

o Drive the data retention/archiving activities pre/post go-live

• Responsible for vendor evaluation within functional area, providing recommendations for selection, and on-going relationship management

• Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

• Responsible for people management activities within functional area including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Experience with process quality methodology

• Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

• Project management experience in global environments

• Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority

• Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills

• Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization

• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams

• BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

• Minimum eight years IT experience

• Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions

• Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
