**Role Summary/Purpose**
Deep technical expert who is responsible for the overall design,development,documentation, maintenance and integration of the available technology environment/frameworks within the Business Solutions Organization. Develops a business solution/IT service area across a limited number of technical domains. May interact with systems analysts to support execution of technical projects and/or do developments in the area of Oracle Application.
**Essential Responsibilities**
• Act as technical expert on the wing-to-wing eBuy to Pay system with a focus on Oracle Business Process Technology Solutions, including expertise in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Workflows, PL/SQL, Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Oracle Personalization
• Manage the migration of solutions through development, stage and production environments
• Identify critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
• Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
• Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, technical, vendor etc.) to lead effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis, Service Request interactions, patch assessment, patch scanning, request patch application, verification and re testing
• Maintain peer relationships across IT and functional areas (infrastructure, operations, technical, vendor, PMO, businesses, etc.) to lead global projects, support global production buy to pay system, including effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis and creation of effective solutions
• Advise GE Businesses, IT and Functional leaders on how to apply Oracle ERP technology solutions to critical businesses processes and requirements
**Qualifications/Requirements**
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field, OR minimum 4 years of relevant IT work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS - AP, PO, GL, CM, iSupplier, iProc, SLA ) in 11i/R12
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle ERP (Development, Testing, Implementations)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle technology including workflows, interface file processing techniques, SQL Loader, Development techniques, triggers, stored procedures and data archiving
• Minimum 3 years of Technical Project Management experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and debugging PL / SQL and SQL queries with good understanding of table structure and ability to create ad hoc queries

**Desired Characteristics**
• Functional & Technical knowledge of iProcurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payables, General Ledger and Cash Management, Human Resource modules
• Oracle ERP Customization and Data Migration experience
• Experience with software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control
• Strong Technical / Functional knowledge of PL / SQL tuning techniques, patch application, Metalink and SR support
• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
• Strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
