Responsibilities:

This position will be accountable for a part of the Consumer Card Portfolio of applications and will lead and manage the Quality Assurance Team responsible for:

* Implementation of the test strategy including Automation strategy

* Management of global team and responsible for QA / Test delivery for multiple application areas

* Forecasting and management of resource allocations across the team

* Collaboration with Automation teams to deliver quality solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams we support

* Communication with senior management on timelines, deliverables, status and plans

* Growth of technical skillsets, business knowledge, & professional aptitude of team members

* Implementation and utilization of processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure quality, reliability and systems safety and security

* Interpreting quality audits, drive improvements and change, and facilitate test methodology discussions across the business unit

* Assessing risk to the project based on the execution and validation and making appropriate recommendations

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* Technical 4-year degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering or equivalent experience

* Overall 12 years of experience

* Minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams with a global presence

* Minimum 5 years of experience with the following:
o System software testing; prefer experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies

o Planning and coordinating test activities

o ALM (and ALM API's) and JIRA

o Proven experience in all aspects of functional, integration and regression testing

o Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-task / multi priority environment across a global team

o Experience with web, client server, mainframe and middleware applications

o Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office products

o Expert in Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies
* Experience of working with Automation tools like HP UFT / Selenium

* Exposure to ATDD / BDD approach

* Collaborative decision-making and good judgment

* Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and drive strategy

* Strong technical analysis and problem solving experience - yet adept at interfacing with all levels of management and influencing in a matrix organization.

* Excellent written and communication skills; able to present information in differing degrees of details and forms depending on audience

* Strong work ethic and self-driven towards impactful results

* Ability to manage and lead in a culture with competing priorities

* Strong interpersonal skills; Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues across levels, desire to learn quickly and think strategically

* Expert use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

* Proven ability to manage people and building high-performance teams
Required Skills:
* Expert knowledge of Test Management tools / Lifecycle management tools like HP ALM / JIRA for managing all test assets and reporting

* Knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, LISA, QTP/UFT, Selenium, SOAP-UI, HP ALM/QTP, JIRA, etc.).

* Good knowledge of web, mainframe, middleware and database technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, HTML, SOAP, MQ, REST, J-SON, DB2, Oracle, etc.)
