Job Description: -Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time. -Perform offline analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem. -Involve in big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve our data processing architecture. -Programming language -- Java (must), Python, Scala, Ruby -Batch processing -- Hadoop MapReduce, Cascading/Scalding, Apache Spark -Stream processing -- Apache Storm, Samza, Spark streaming -NoSQL -- HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra -Knowledge of Hadoop eco-system -Good knowledge in programming, specifically Java, R , SAS ,Python or Scala -Writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
-Ability to write MapReduce jobs.
-Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
-Ability to write Pig Latin scripts. -Hands on experience in HiveQL. -Familiarity with data loading tools like Flume, Sqoop. -Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie. -Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to Big Data domain -Proven understanding with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, and HBase. -Excellent communication and decision making skills are essential. -Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. -Identify project issues, communicate them and assist in their resolution. -Assist in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing project team methodology and performance. -Cooperative team focused attitude Required skillset : -Educational Qualification -Bachelors in Computer Science or related area - Experience Range - 2 to 5 years software development experience -Minimum 1 Year Experience on Big Data Platform -Proficiency in atleast 2 or 3 among Java, Python, HBase, Hive, MapReduce, ETL, Kafka, Mongo, Visualization technologies etc. -Flair for data, schema, data model, how to bring efficiency in big data related life cycle -Proficiency with agile or lean development practices -Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills 522b439b-2a05-494c-855c-12755280f90d
