Title – Manager SAP SuccessFactors

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for enhancement & maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors & surrounding HCM non/cloud application systems within Alexion. The role would be a part of the global ERP Center of Excellence based out of India and would report locally to the Associate Director, SAP (ABS, Mumbai) and functionally to the Senior Manager, SAP-HCM applications at onsite. This position would be responsible for delivering projects, work-orders and support work. The role will be responsible for the design & development of the HCM systems’ solution based on customer requirements & feedback, and testing system functionality and process flow for quality assurance prior to deploying it in Production environment. The candidate should have good business process knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and the ability to translate process requirements into architecture design across multiple HR applications. This position will be responsible for managing a team of ERP-HCM resources for the allocation, quality & timeliness of their day-to-day deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

The SAP SuccessFactors Manager manages systems, processes & procedures to support the HCM application platform that comprises SuccessFactors as the main system of record surrounded by other applications like SAP-HCM, SumTotal, Kronos & Concur. The candidate would be responsible to:

+ Lead and deliver Employee Central projects according to standard SuccessFactors methodology

+ Schedule and estimate project tasks for the HCM team

+ Deliver demonstrations, Business Process Workshops, and Kickoffs to support business needs

+ Provide consultation & expert technical advice to management, colleagues and staff regarding HR processes, systems and overhead estimates

+ Cull out and record business requirements and perform fit gap analysis between client requirements and standard SuccessFactors Employee Central Solution

+ Design & configure SuccessFactors design for Employee Central, Applicant Tracking, Recruitment and other modules in accordance with Solution Design & Configuration Workbook and SuccessFactors best practices including strong XML ability

+ Create Business Blueprints, Process flows, functional specifications, test cases/scripts and other documentation to support entire SDLC, incl. design, build, testing and business acceptance.

+ Design integrations specs with various internal & external HCM systems

+ Test & Quality Assurance of SF solution during Projects and Enhancements

+ Documentation of the system configurations, integration design and components

+ Lead and partake in SF projects & rollouts conversion activities

+ SF technical administration including users, RBPs, batch jobs etc.

+ Prioritize and Allocate work between team members based on skill & availability

+ Define & Set goals, deliverables, and milestones for HCM team work products

+ Manage performance metrics for the team as per defined targets

+ Plan for development & career growth of team members with on-the-job and traditional learning opportunities

+ Provide first and second line support for user issues

+ Manage and communicate incident reporting for all HCM system related incidents using established IT processes; Resolution of defects in response to escalated support issues

+ Define, implement and monitor IT standards and procedures.

+ Manage SuccessFactors & SAP-HCM related IT change controls and Ensure adherence to IT Change Control best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

+ Extremely strong background in Human Resource implementation with SuccessFactors.

+ Have ability to lead, provide a high level of consultative advice, discuss and advise on Organization design and development, and configure SuccessFactors Employee Central module

+ Have Excellent understanding of Employee Life Cycle Management processes in Global organizations

+ Certified in SuccessFactors Employee Central (THR81 or equivalent)

+ Preferably certified in additional SuccessFactors modules other than EC

+ 4 years of SuccessFactors implementation experience

+ Minimum 7 years of overall non/cloud HCM-ERP or Workforce Management application implementation & support experience

+ Preferably SAP-HCM certified in a number of modules

+ Experience in integration of SuccessFactors with SAP-HCM and 3rd party enterprise workforce applications like Kronos, Concur and SumTotal

+ Experience in configuration of SAP-HCM, Kronos, Concur & SumTotal a plus

+ Experience managing a team of HCM application technical resources preferably as direct reportees, or as vendor resources

+ Experience working with multiple application vendors during projects, upgrades, technical evaluations, and production support issues

+ Ability to work variable hours for requirements gathering and demos with US and global customers

+ Ability to collaborate globally with end-users, business owners & onsite IT counterparts to deliver projects

+ Preferably possess substantial Human Resources / Talent Management domain experience

+ Ability to travel internationally as needed

+ Ability to manage a team assigned to multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects

+ Ability to work within all levels of an organization

+ Excellent English written and spoken communications and diction

+ Excellent documentation, organization, collaborative and inter-personal skills

+ Must have experience working in a multi-national company

+ Experience in working in a validated IT environment preferred.

+ Project management experience a plus.

Education

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business with Human Resources background or related field of study

+ SuccessFactors-EC certification must; multiple SF certifications preferred

+ SAP HCM Certification preferred

+ Kronos, SumTotal or Concur certifications added plus

+ PMP, CPHR or SHRM certifications added plus
