The Global HR Operations center of excellence provides operational and support services for Microsoft HR programs, with primary areas of focus being customer support services, core HR operations (HR data administration, onboarding, leave administration, staffing, learning & development, etc.), business process optimization, HR online solutions, and project management. The success of the HR Operations organization is critical to the overall effectiveness of HR and our ability to ensure consistent employee and manager experiences companywide. The Global HR Operations center of excellence provides operational and support services for Microsoft HR programs, with primary areas of focus being customer support services, core HR operations (HR data administration, onboarding, leave administration, staffing, learning & development, etc.), business process optimization, HR online solutions, and project management. The success of the HR Operations organization is critical to the overall effectiveness of HR and our ability to ensure consistent employee and manager experiences in the subsidiaries. The HR Operations Associate is a member of the HR Operations organization and plays a key role in the delivery of high quality HR Services and Support to business leaders, managers and employees, as well as to the HR Community.

GHRO Global service center is chartered with centrally maintaining the employee data required for HR processes. The Data Management Operations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the employee HR data in the ERP (SAP HR) is maintained for Microsoft Employees and Contract Staff across the globe and it is kept up-to-date and accurate. Data Management Operations Associate will also be responsible for meeting Service Level Agreement measures viz., Turnaround Time, Accuracy target scores by providing high quality and timely resolution to HR data transaction / administration requests. As part of the role the Associate will have to perform data operations across SAP HR and a few other internal HR systems like HeadTrax. Data Management Operations Associate will also be required to respond to any inquiries specific to employee data or tool administration specific to Employee data management. To be successful in this role, the individual in this position will need to excel at: operational execution, attention to detail, responsiveness, continuous improvement, cross boundary collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

This role will be of an External Employee.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable to ensure Employee HR records are accurately created and / or maintained in SAP HR
Ensure any data transaction / administration request for employee’s or contract staff’s HR data update/ creation is evaluated for completeness and eligibility
Takes complete ownership to close the data administration requests, including follow-up with the requestor to collect missing information and / or informing approval requirements
Follow the Desktop Procedures defined for each data administration action that needs to be completed in SAP or other related HR tools
Ensure the Maker-Checker process is followed and Data Monitoring is done to ensure high quality of data in SAP and other HR tools associated with employee data administration
Maintain efficient service delivery by ensuring transactional requests and assigned inquiries are completed within SLA depending on priority & complexity
Working in a highly data sensitive environment, responsible for protecting Data Privacy at all time and adhering to confidentiality requirements to promote zero breach of compliance policies
Recommend solutions to process failings and contribute to the continuous improvement process
Continuously strive towards improving accuracy and timeliness resulting in minimized complaints on the delivery of HR Operations Services

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor Degree / MBA or equivalent (any specialization) (Specialization in Human Resource Management will be an advantage)
1-2 years’ experience in SAP (SAP HR preferable)
Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines has to be good
Knowledge of HR processes and exposure to a Shared Service Center environment
Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Possess initiative & drive; with strong desire to continuously improve processes & deliver against agreed objectives/ service levels
Ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to help others
Experience with common help desk tool such as CRM is a plus
Ability to work with/manage documents on a SharePoint is desirable.
Education and Experience
Education Level Required Bachelor Degree / MBA (any specialization) (Specialization in Human Resource Management will be an advantage)
Years of Experience Required 1-2+ years of relevant work experience with SAP knowledge in a Shared Services environment
