**Position Description**
IN\_EN\_10\_68\_Engineer\_Associate
Understand & execute engineering tasks as per work instructions independently
Prepare auxiliary systems drawings in AutoCAD/ Inventor
Performing tasks associated with complicated layout design
for standard products and generating shop floor fabrication
drawing
Generate Bill of materials for assembly drawings for the retrofit jobs and ensure the design compliments the equipment and customer technology to serve user needs
Perform task associated with new design opportunities to enhance products cost and / or lead times to plan
Effectively utilize \(reporting/ interpreting/ analyzing\) established business system features in day\-to\-day business
Evaluating the estimated hours/ Activity duration estimation/ Critical Path\(s\) Determination/ Perform Reference search/ Identifying nearest duplicate
Finding missing info & liaise and mobilize missing info from originator
Provide assistance/ support to engineering and assisting in CIP efforts
Ascertain absolute minimum design Criteria, functional design evaluation and optimization of auxiliary systems
Demonstrate proficiency in specification review, Capture all requirements, interpret the requirements, Bind the requirements, categorize the requirements, Prioritize the requirements\.
Understanding Mutatis mutandis of customer specification
Consolidate project requirement and create design guideline document for engineering when required
**Accountabilities**

**Position Requirements**
Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/ Production discipline or Equivalent \(Minimum 3 years course\) with 5\+ years of experience in Engineering industries OR Engineering graduate with 1\-3 years of experience in Engineering industries specialized in Rotating equipment or Static/ Pressure
containing equipment, Fabrication, Heat Exchanger manufacturing, Piping design for Chemical Process industry/ Power industry\. Experience with mechanical seals or rotating equipment preferred\.
Broad technical knowledge with the ability to understand the requirements of pressure vessel, heat exchanger, manufacturing, testing, Welding, NDE is a credential\.
Cross\-functional knowledge on instrumentation application is a credential\.
Collaborative skill is required to manage and interact with all facility personnel, affiliates across globe and customers\.
Fundamental understanding of mechanical seals and Auxiliary sealing systems is an advantage\.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, listening and facilitation skills\.
Strong interpersonal skills, effective team player with the ability to motivate & engage with others\.
Proven ability to manage projects in a multitasking environment and drive them to completion\.
