CIB Banking Technology is currently seeking a Dev Ops Engineer.
Scope of Work:
- Onboarding various distributed application build & deployments to internally developed automation tools.
- Responsible for supporting end users on daily issues.
- Assist with deployment scripting and automation.
- Update and execute complex build & deploy scripts when required.
- Should have cross-platform build & deployment knowledge, able to triage build and deployment issues with help of Development, Tech Ops and Database (DB) Engineers.
- Prepare documentation and support Production Implementations during weekends.
- 24 x 7 supports whenever requested.
Responsibilities:
- Configure & Support automation of Application & Web Deployments on middleware such as Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere environments.
- UNIX shell scripts ot Perl programming and apply changes to scripts whenever required.
- Run Build & Deployment using Maven / Ant.
- Automate builds & deployments using Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI).
- Coordinate with Development teams on Artifactory or Nexus Maven repository updates.
- Thorough and effective daily communication with various impacted teams as required.
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- 5 years Build / Deployment experience with minimum 3 years around J2EE based deployments
- J2EE based application builds and deployments
- Maven/Maven2, ANT and advanced Shell scripting
- Apache, Tomcat Webspher & Weblogic knowledge
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
- Source code management tools such as Subversion, GIT
- Unix shell scripting, Perl scripting
- Jenkins integration for builds
- Automation of builds & deployments
- Artifactory or Nexus Maven repository understanding
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Cucumber, Selenium
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Coordination experience with cross section of teams
- Advanced understanding of Windows and Unix O/S and usage
Desired Skills:
- JPMC exposure is a plus
- Java Development is a plus
- Understanding of Dev Ops technologies such as Bower, NPM JS, Docker
- Mainframe based distributed systems knowledge
