GENERAL OVERVIEW: To establish Rubbermaid Commercial Products & Services in India by generating a strong sales growth in the country by maintaining the existing distribution network and simultaneously expanding further distribution footprint. To develop top Key Accounts, using Company’s existing global contracts with hotel groups, food-chains, hospitals, construction and manufacturing industries. To develop a strong sales team in due course. This position will be reporting to the General Manager/Director-Sales & Marketing and will require supervision by the reporting manager while final commercial negotiations with the distributors, key end users. Should independently be able to develop & lead a robust sales team eventually. PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform highly involved duties to generate sales revenue, deep market penetration in strategic market segments, develop Key Accounts to meet and exceed Company’s Annual Sales Budget in the assigned territory. Expand distribution of products & services within the assigned territory – appointing new distributors & sub-dealers, maintain & growing existing distributors. Lead, manage, train & mentor a full-time company sales team, consisting of 4-6 persons located at different geographical regions in due course. Also perform the same duties for developing distributors’ sales & service team. Directly handle Top Distributors in the country, set their annual sales targets, negotiate discounts, annual rebates, special promotional programs, etc. Initiate aggressive sales planning & ensure time-bound effective implementation of such plans. Keep a strong track of marketing intelligence, competitors activities, changing market trends & demands, new product development/requirement, etc., and communicate them to relevant people in the organization from time to time. Coordinate activities and monitor progress towards objectives and perform to achieve sales growth, brand building, customer relationship, etc. Keep close control on AR & statutory form collection. Keep sales costs, T&E expenses under budget levels. Set Annual Objectives, Learning & Development Programs for self and direct reports, if any. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Commerce 10+ years hard core B2B selling experience, preferably in hospitality, commercial cleaning, food service or Industrial MRO 3-5 years in managerial position leading a sales team of at least 8-10 people Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and develop a sales team Excellent communication skills Fluency in English & Hindi is a must PPT Presentation Skills Planning & Time Management Skills Strong Analytical & Business Skills Extensive travelling within and outside India Should have a valid driving license and passport
