The
Oracle Service Cloud QA team is looking for a high energy, team-oriented
individual to join this highly skilled and motivated team.
As an Oracle QA Analyst you will provide outstanding test coverage in all areas
of responsibility, to create high quality software by exhaustively identifying product
defects to attain the goal of releasing
superior quality software to our customers. Further as a QA
analyst you will gain experience writing scripts using C
and PHP on Linux OS and will have responsibilities in ensuring QA of various SW
components that are part of a large scale system with high reliability and
availability requirements. Your responsibilities include:
+ Work with Development team and other QA Engineers tofunctionally test Oracle Service product using manual and/or automatedtest approaches
+ Analyze software defects to ascertain source and natureof defects
+ Employ risk based test approach to concentrate on themost important tests
+ Write clear and reproducible software defects andverify them
+ Provide complete test coverage of assigned areas
+ Become an expert in the product/feature areas tested
**Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Background**
+ Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
+ Preferred 4 years of experience in QA and/or softwaretesting including knowledge of processes, tools and methodologies
+ Ability to quickly understand software functionalityand translate this understanding into documented, repeatable softwaretests
+ A highly organized individual who works well underpressure to complete tasks that meet tight deadlines
+ A team player who will work across the organization andscrum teams
+ A fast and able learner
+ High attention to process and detail
+ Excellent communication - both verbal and written
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills
+ Experience in Linux, Unix and/or Windows XP/7/8
+ Basic knowledge of any programming knowledge

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
