**JOB SCOPE:**

+ **This positionexists to support the Portfolio Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager with thecollation and analysis of revenue generation and forecast data in an accurate,relevant and timely manner\.**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Under the guidance of the Manager, Revenue Analysis, manage therevenue analysis tasks on behalf of a hotel centrally offsite\.
+ Assist the Portfolio Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager, to ensureexecution of effective strategies and actions for total revenue management,pricing, yield management, forecasting and channel delivery to achieve agreedRevPAR, RGI, system delivery, total revenue and profitability objectives

+ Reviews secondary research data & analysis to understandcompetitor practices & performance, economic & consumer trends and thedynamic of the market & demand generators\. Uses this knowledge to identifyand implement opportunities to generate incremental revenues and thereforedrive revenue and pricing strategies with adequate ROI for all portfoliohotels\.
+ Supports Revenue Champion at hotel with insights andrecommendations to ensure that pricing, conversion and yield restrictions inHolidex Plus and Perform are appropriate to forecasted demand and inventory isbalanced and the daily operations of the Reservations team and revenue systemsare managed effectively\. For Managed hotels and in conjunction with the hotelleadership team, implement system actions around pricing and yield to driveoptimal RevPAR delivery\.
+ Responsible for analyzing group activity, including denials,regrets, booking pace, wash and cut off enforcement\. Implement Group and FITstrategy calendar to assist the teams on the ground to take relevant pricingdecisions at all times\.

Recommend appropriate strategies and actions relating to pricing,prospect accounts and market mix on this basis to the revenue team\.
+ Review competitor set results on a weekly basis to enable analysisof penetration indices\.
+ Analyze and understand market reach / penetration, givingdirection to Sales & Marketing regarding strategic shifts that need tohappen Short, Medium and Long Term
+ Ensure based on relevant decisions, demand patterns and direction,the hotel channels support yielding strategies i\.e\. ARI / MPI at all times\.

+ Depending on the service level as defined in the RMH Agreement,you may be expected to conduct your scheduled yield meetings with the hotel todiscuss the Forecast for the Rest of The Year and other key agenda items\.
+ In compliance with InterContinental Hotels Group standards, updatethe room forecast in Integrated Business Plan \(IBP\) / SBRP and share the filewith the hotel\.
+ Communicate regularly with each hotel and the area team regardinghotel performance, opportunities and/or threats\.
+ Consider and comment on economic, political, social activity andtrends which are likely to influence business outcomes\.
+ Based on the agreed Forecast, there might be changes required inthe pricing and inventory management in Holidex Plus\. The implementation is tooccur subject to relevant hotel approvals\.
+ Support the sales and marketing strategies and actions based onthe forecast and budget communicated\.
+ Review and analyze Predictive Demand Intelligence \(PDI\) reports,IHG Revenue Management Reports and other tools to consider and formulaterecommendations\.
+ Review PERFORM forecast and hurdle points relevant to the IBP\(SBRP\) forecast and if necessary, revise segment forecasting to ensure thatproduct and inventory yielding and length of stay is being managedappropriately\.
+ Ensure forecasting accuracy for all market segments with focus onRevPAR\.
+ Evaluate group acceptance and pricing, in line with forecasteddemand\.
+ Update and analyze denial and regret activity, proportional todemand and pricing\.
+ Based on the service level, you might be involved in the annualbudgeting process that will include recommending ideal targets supported bydata and analysis\. The IBP/SBRP might be required to be updated with the budgetnumbers\.
+ Ensure IBP/SBRP is updated with relevant data inputs at all timesin conjunction with the hotel s PMS data\.

Month End:

+ Lead and manage the update rooms, F&B, channel, GEO, PCRenrolments, PCR contribution and competitor set forecasts for a rolling 12months\.
+ Submit IBP/SBRP files in accordance with mandated timelines\.
+ Owner of Product Management Calendar, updating on a monthly /ad\-hoc basis and communicating results to various stakeholders \(advertising /marketing / promotions etc\.\)\.
+ Review Natural RGI and RGI forecast tool, work with PortfolioRevenue Manager/Revenue Manager to action specific outcomes to manage hotel sperformance\.

Total Revenue Management:

+ Understand the concept of Total Revenue Management and assistPortfolio Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager to drive this culture within thehotels\.
+ Support the hotel in revenue driving initiatives, including thedriving of up\-selling targets and decreasing rebates\.
+ Support the Portfolio Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager driveincremental revenue in areas including F&B, C&E and room s relateditems\.
+ Focus on C&E analysis and planning using the appropriatetools\.
+ Support C&E revenue by providing direction on pricing &yielding meeting space, as well as accommodation rooms to deliver total revenuetargets\.
+ Assist the Portfolio Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager in totalrevenue analysis\. This involves the appropriate use of tools, including Easyview reports, Customer Profit Contribution analysis and ART reports\.

Experience:

+ Understanding of Yield Management with a minimum of 2 year sexperience in revenue management roles within hotel or similar industry\.
+ 2 years experience in a similar analytical role will also beconsidered\.
+ Experience across multiple properties or multiple analytical roleswill be an advantage\.

Technical:
