Demand Generation Campaign Specialist

Honeywell HBT is seeking a Demand Generation Campaign Specialist for supporting the company’s outbound online marketing activities on a global level. The right candidate is expected to be passionate about online demand generation/direct marketing and will become one of the company’s leading email marketing experts. This specifically includes being intimately familiar and skilled with Marketo, the marketing automation/email marketing application used at Honeywell. Focus areas for this critical role are designing and creating e-mail campaigns for the various regions (Americas, EMEIA, APAC) for the purpose of nurturing prospects as well as creating awareness and demand for new products.

Some of the desired results include driving new traffic and generating new leads. Tasks may also include development and modification of campaign sites, landing pages and micro sites. The Demand Gen Campaign Specialist will also ensure that the Honeywell brand and online experience is followed throughout all online marketing activities as well as quality assurance of content that is ready for production deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop emails in our email communications system (Marketo) in collaboration with other marketing departments across the globe and distribute.
• QA/approve emails prior to distribution. Review from a brand consistency and digital experience perspective
• Contribute email marketing best practices to all email marketing activities
• Set up custom templates for emails
• Merge and segment mail lists
• Provide monthly email reporting and metrics and analyze such to find areas for improvement
• Train colleagues on system as applicable
• Support Marketing Campaign Manager by developing new and modify existing campaign websites, landing pages and micro sites
• Coordinate 3rd party email marketing activities
• Provide system and tech support around campaigns and programs

Tools & Systems:

• Manage multiple Marketo instances
• Create and/or update emails and email templates using Marketo
• Query data in SalesForce.com and Marketo
• Set up HTML version of email
• Optimize graphics for web pages and e-mail templates using Adobe Photoshop
• Create and manipulate PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Use issue-tracking system to record, prioritize, communicate, and track relevant requests

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education/Training/Work Experience: Associate Degree or High School diploma required. BA or BS degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years prior work experience in a related role.
• Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Previous experience with Marketo marketing automation system ideal. Previous experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
• Familiarity with email and web design including layout, usability, code, graphic design, copywriting, software, and related technologies is required. Email QA skills important.
• Copywriting and/or copyediting experience a plus.
• Must be a proficient user of MS Windows, MS Office Suite. Industry Standard browser experience (IE, Firefox, Safari) expected and required. Experience with Adobe systems such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop is essential to this position.
• Ability to work in a team setting and have a strong attention to detail.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Global perspective: Understanding of how social media is used in different cultures. Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Strong personal user of websites and email.
