EYP MCF, the leading consultancy firm providing Mission Critical Facilities Services is now part of HP Technology Services. The new entity, HP Critical Facilities (HP CF) is recognized worldwide as a leading engineering and IT consulting group dedicated to the strategic technology planning, analysis, design, commissioning and operations of enterprises whose mission or business success is driven by critical need for operational continuity, energy efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
The India DCF Delivery Manager is responsible for the overall Delivery of projects across the DCF Portfolio’s and shall report directly to the India TC Manager. The Delivery Manager will be required to work across all the different DCF Portfolio’s with a particular focus on the Design and Implementation business and with specific goals to achieve agreed revenue and margin targets for each project and for the overall business
Ownership of the revenue and margins for the DCF business, including regular updates and re-forecasting.
Seek opportunities to continually improve the P&L for each project without compromising on HP’s contractual obligations
Build, establish and use relevant processes, tools, codes and skills to engage in deals and fulfill deal/project commitments.
Undertake reviews of the deals / opportunities during the pursuit stage and conduct deal assurance during the initial stages to ensure that the DCF risks are minimized and mitigated
Mentoring and developing staff in Country on the Delivery of projects during both the pursuit and delivery stages and identify areas of improvement / development required for Country resources. Coordinate with the APJ team for L&D requirements, training and development of staff as necessary.
People Manager’s role and responsibilities for the PM’s in the DCF business.
Participate in development, analysis and dissemination of technical bulletins, white papers, and all efforts related to strengthening "thought leadership" in mission critical industry, with particular emphasis on Delivery best practices
Assist to develop the DCF partner eco system to assist with delivering solutions to ensure delivery quality and on time delivery.
Work closely with the pursuit & design teams in Country and the clients to define scope and involvement include:
Programming including critical path development & analysis
Delivery Documentation – Project Management Plans and associated DCF templates
Field observations and commissioning support
Continuous quality improvement initiatives
Lead and oversees staff through completion of projects from the commencement through to handover, coordinating multi-functional efforts, in compliance with HP standards and governmental regulations.
Have visibility on all projects across the DCF portfolio
Monitor and review projects, applies appropriate project controls to ensure strict compliance with financial, legal, regulatory, quality, schedule and safety requirements for each project.
Responsible for overseeing project close-out, hand-over to customer, management of acceptance criteria and ensuring Customer Satisfaction is maintained and progressively improved
Participate in regular cadence calls with the APJ DCF Director and / or the APJ Delivery Manager Qualifications: Education & Experience
• 17-22 yrs..of experience with First Level University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Suitable business experience
• Industry sector knowledge (finance, manufacturing, etc.)
• Information Technology Information Library (ITIL)/Information Technology (IT) Service Management (ITSM) experience
• Strong influence & negotiation skills
• Applies appropriate knowledge and methods to resolve complex business issues
• Leadership ability to build & manage a cross cultural, cross tower & cross business team
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & presentation, listening actively
• Crisis, conflict & risk management
• Very good communication skills (spoken and written)
Preferred:
• Multi cultural experience desired
