As a Software Development Engineer in Test , you will work closely with our innovative Development Team, Technical Program Management Team and business partners to develop our online strategy, and create test automation tools and technical solutions to our business and customer problems. You will also work directly with cross-functional, geographically distributed development teams to turn the strategy into a reality and provide valuable products to customers.

*Roles and Responsibilities***
* Adequate knowledge on C#, Selenium, SQL/ORACLE, WSDL and RESTAPIs; Open script technology or tools exposure is an added advantage
* Basic knowledge on application/tool development, Webserver, IIS; Good logical reasoning skill set
* Hands on Design, Coding and automation development
* Exposure/Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
* Automation Framework , Development, Strong Hands on Experience
* Responsible for the quality of selected application/product features.
* Develop E2E automation script using Page Object Pattern (POP) Framework; Maintain best practices in aligned with Dell Coding/Scripting standards
* Integration of automation scripts with TFS, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), Defect tracking/triaging and E2E validation status Reporting
* Drive & Support System Integration validation and PRODUCTION launches
* Work closely with Development and Product management teams to provide feedback on design (functional and technical) and user scenarios
* Development responsibilities include doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and test impacts, writing test tools and identifying automation opportunities, Script refactoring and optimization
* Drive improvements in unit testing coverage, design test framework, develop test suites, expand automated testing harness and automate scenarios/cases
* Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests accurately and in timely manner, debugging to find root cause, validation of the resolved ones and closing it
* Able to demonstrate expertise by sharing best practices, tools, white papers etc and drive engineering excellence across organization
* Candidate should have strong programming, debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills. Should have Innovative and Creative mindset
* The ability to work closely with developers, program managers and other test teams, to ensure the quality of the owned components.
* Good knowledge on test plans, test spec creations and test processes. A test mentality and methodology with a strong focus on user scenario testing.
* Work experience in Ecommerce domain and on large Enterprise class business applications would be an added advantage
Production Incident Triage & Support:
§ Respond to emergency Production incidents and triage the severity to take a due action
§ Respond to emergency Production Incidents through eCRQ
§ Share the RCA with L2 (App Support Team)
§ Drive the delivery of the PKEs for your apps/Feature team
Contribute Knowledge Asset: (SME)
§ Become an SME for your application and contribute to the build knowledge documentation
