**Role Summary/Purpose**
Serves as direct liaison to functional process owners in order to translate and prioritize requirements for Supply Chain Planning projects and maintenance support\.
Serve as both functional & technical specialist for critical Supply Chain applications such as Demantra, Demantra Master Scheduler \(DMS\), ASCP & Inventory Optimization and others\.
This analyst will serve as expert for all related code, interfaces, configurations & data flows of assigned areas\.
**Essential Responsibilities**
• Responsible for translating high\-level forecasting and planning business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
• Assists the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes
• Researches development in assigned technology, helps determine business requirements, proposes changes, develops migration and implementation plans, and may execute projects based on these activities
• Expert on Supply Chain Management principles and the implementation of those principles using Oracle ERP systems
• Maintains functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area’s systems, organization, and business processes
• Apply principles of Lean and Six Sigma to drive business process improvements on assigned projects
• Provide technical and functional support during the monthly GSC S&OP business cycles
• Engage in GSC IT projects to implement new Oracle VCP functionality and applications
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Materials Center of Excellence team in the application of the Oracle VCP demand and supply solutions
• Demonstrate command of Demantra architecture and provide technical guidance
• Work with architects on designs and design documents
• Conduct basic systems analysis, testing, debugging, documentation, design and interfacing
• Apply standard development procedures and detailed applications knowledge in Demantra to create technical designs driving towards simple, sustainable, and reusable solutions
• Lead contracted development resources
• Provide overall guidance related to business impact of systemic enhancements, ensure proper impact analysis and design documentation is completed to GEHC standards
• Collaborate with Planning architects to ensure proposed systemic enhancements are within architecture design strategy
• Troubleshoot major Support issues
• Execution of minor and major maintenance/enhancements
• This role will be critical in analyzing all current & future VCP applications for functionalities & making recommendations in how they do, or should, be used by GEHC\.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, a related technical discipline or Business related degree with Oracle ERP implementation experience
• Skilled at implementing and using the Oracle Value Chain Planning applications \(specifically Demantra, Advanced Supply Chain Planning \(ASCP\), Advanced Planning Command Center\(APCC\), Inventory Optimization\)
• Familiar with GE Healthcare’s Demantra Master Scheduling and Slotting solutions
• Minimum four years of hands\-on experience with Oracle VCP
• Hands\-on work with Demantra worksheet, series, & collections as well as ASCP collections, plan setups, & workbench
• In\-depth understanding of global Demand and Supply Planning processes including S&OP theories and APICS’ fundamentals
• Functional and technical experience implementing complex ERP systems in a global matrix environment
• Knowledge of the GE Healthcare tollgate project processes and documentation requirements
• Outstanding problem\-solving skills
• Ability to translate technical information into terms understandable by non\-IT savvy personnel
• Adept at interacting in both business and IT focused discussions
• Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and suppliers
• Practical experience using SQL and PL/SQL and familiarity with Oracle database concepts
• Comfortable with being the Subject Matter Expert \(SME\)
• Periodic off\-hours support for go\-lives or major support issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to fluently speak and write in the English language
• Familiarity with Oracle Strategic Network Optimization, Collaborative Planning, Production Scheduling, Global Order Promising, Rapid Planning
