**Job Description**

**Purpose:**

99. Support Above\-The\-Line and Below\-The\-Line communication activities to build & grow brand awareness & preference for Lubricants brands through cost effective media mix
99. Support in the formulation and implementation of a dynamic PR strategy focused on relevant and innovative messaging and outreach ideas
99. Co\-ordinate market research to track & monitor brand performance – sharing learnings for larger team
99. Ensure compliance between approved expenditure plan by communication and promotional activity and its implementation in terms of budget and mix\.
99. Aim at understanding key stakeholders path to purchase and touch points to effectively and efficiently reach them

The role must support the quality and results of the marketing communication campaigns implemented and ROI\.

**Accountabilities:**

+ Liaise with Advertising / creative, PR and Media agencies to ensure effective and efficient delivery of B&C activities on time and on budget, leveraging the global agencies networking \(JWT, Edelman and Mediacom – where applicable\)\.
+ Media Planning & Strategising – pursuing the achievement of brand KPIs
+ Annual ATL plans for all brands, Ensuring timely MBA sign offs & plans implementation
+ PR activities round the year for B2B & B2C \- PR strategy & annual calendarising \(Event/Announcement Led PR and Brand Agnostic PR, Content Partnership, Awards, Global Leaders PR, Marketing PR etc\)
+ Brand and Sector led events project management\(Design\+ Planning \+ Execution Assitance \+ Media\):
+ Development of Creative: Top 5 brand campaigns of the year
+ Brand Researches – Design, Execution, Reporting, Course Correction
+ Support the adaptation of agreed campaigns based on Global developments and media plans\.
+ Support the implementation and measurement of regional \(where applicable\) promotional activities
+ Complete Post Investment Reviews on key Marketing initiatives that are personally managed
+ Ensure alignment cross cluster of locally generated initiatives with global Brand strategies, liaising with global teams\.
+ Standardise approval process for local material development and ensure adherence \- alignment of locally generated initiatives with global Brand strategies, elevating to Global teams any areas of concern or need for additional support\.
+ Ensure best practice sharing with Global Brand teams, as well as with the B&C community spread around the world\.
+ Leverage Global Procurement contracts and best practice learning to improve initiative ROI and growth contribution\.
+ Ensure compliance with Standard Offer Book for brand and communications activities and procurement/fulfilment
+ Ensure compliance with Shell brand guidelines and implementation of marketing initiatives
+ Protect Shell Lubricants brand position
+ Ensure support for the digital media work where appropriate including digital creative development and localisation for 3rd party sites
+ Fully support Sales 1st processes and behaviours

**Requirements**

\- Experience in brand management\.

\- Ideally would have experience with agencies management \(Advertising, PR and Media\)

\- Ideally would have experience with Digital Activities Implementation

\- Ideally would have knowledge of the Lubricants business

\- Should have passion for demonstrating innovativeness and finding new creative ways of creating excellence in execution

**Personal attributes:**

+ Project management skills required\.
+ Highly self\-motivated and able to effectively manage various competing priorities\.
+ Strong interface / stakeholder management skills and proven ability to work with influence and lead diverse teams outside the line as well as delivering results through others\.
+ Ability to manage complex organisational interfaces including: global / cluster marketing; marketing / sales; marketing/ supply chain/ product management/ agencies/ local service provider\.
+ An interest in technology and trends within the Digital and media industry is beneficial\.
+ Superior communication skills
