+ You sholuld have thorough applied technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Windows Operating Systems (Hardware, Software).
+ You should be capable of performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.
+ Should have Windows Clustering and Scripting and Automation Problem solving Capability.
What you’ll do
+ + Command Center Services (includes remote monitoring of servers located worldwide from India, Security operations and network operations), Server Systems Management, IT Security Services, IT Service Desk, Service Management & Project Management/ Transition Services.Roles & Responsibility
+ You will work on Solaris Administration and will be involved in demonstrating Solaris 10 system administration, ZFS, SMF, SUN Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, NFS, TCP/IP networking and SAN storage (Powerpath), shell scripting.
+ You will work on Linux Administration LVM(Logical Volume Manager) administration, user management, suse manager administration, exposure to yum, zypper, rpm, security hardening.Skills required:Solaris
+ Extensive UNIX system administration experience.
+ Professional qualification as a Solaris 10 Certified Systems Administrator.
+ Demonstrable Solaris system administration experience in a large scale server environment.
+ Some exposure to AIX would be advantageous.
+ Experience with SunFire servers from entry level to enterprise 6800s, F25K and M-series hardware.
+ Demonstrable competence in the following: Solaris 10 system administration, ZFS, SMF, SUN Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, NFS, TCP/IP networking and SAN storage (Powerpath), shell scripting.Linux: (Suse/RHEL):Preferably RHEL/SUSE 11 certified
+ LVM(Logical Volume Manager) administration• User management
+ Suse manager administration, exposure to yum, zypper, rpm
+ Security hardening
+ Experience in performing IMM/ILO administration
+ Experience in performing vmware administration
+ Experience in performing firmware upgrade in Linux Platform.

# Adequate Knowledge of MS Patching and resolving the security based problems.# Practical experience on Client Backup tools like TSM, Veritas, Arc server etc.,# Knowledge of Citrix, VM ware and remote server support is an added advantage.# Trouble shooting server based problems with root cause analysis.# Problem solving Capability in IBM, HP and Dell Hardware.# Experience in handling customer base environment of more than 50 servers will be essential. # Good Understanding of trouble shooting & Server based Commands# General Knowledge of Storage, Networking and backup devices# Experience on the following layered products (in one will be Mandatory, more than two will be an added advantage)- DNS- DHCP- WINS- TCP/IP- IIS & FTP# Strong concepts of TCP / IP
