+ Extensive on-the-job interactions with Sales, Technology Development

+ Moderate interactions with, Public Affairs Supply Chain

+ Develop implementable go-to-market plans with focus on communication ,marketing –mix and Customer

+ Facilitate on-ground execution through extensive interactions and cross-functional hand-holding

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN AREAS OF WORK RESPONSIBILITIES)**

**Short-term (1 year)**

+ Operational plans:

+ Work in close conjunction with regional sales teams to develop market specific plans:

+ Market development (including pre-season field activities, in-season demonstration trials’ planning and management, harvest related field / market development activities);

+ Implementation actions and timelines;

+ Work in close conjunction with Technology Development team to track product performance:

+ Develop core positioning working closely with Revenue Optimisation team

+ New product launch:

+ Develop comprehensive launch plans for new products

+ Lead cross-functional team to ensure execution of all critical activities for successful launch with tracking of key matrices

+ Marketing plans and activities:

+ Develop core messaging for products and USP

+ Develop ideas and concepts to increase awareness, usage and product value;

+ Develop sales tools and collaterals to communicate core positioning and messaging;

+ Ensure appropriate product training for sales force (with help from Technology Development);

+ Conduct appropriate market research to guide business decisions;

+ Develop annual calendar of marketing activities based on crop cycle;

+ Managing annual advertising & promotion budget.

+ Track effectiveness of campaign /communication and implement action basis learning

+ Market and competitor intelligence:

+ Implement processes to track key competitors;

+ Track competition marketing approach

+ Coordinate to ensure execution of all critical activities for successful partnership

**Medium term (>2 years)**

+ Brand building:

+ Conduct necessary research to guide brand building efforts;

+ Evaluate alternate approaches for brand building (umbrella branding / single v/s multi brands / hybrid branding, Seed treatment etc );

+ Define and implement brand strategies and proposition for mother brand

+ Customer Strategy - Develop customer Strategy basis segmentation of customers

+ Explore Partnership opportunity like end user industry, Input industry to provide integrated solution

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

Education

MBA from reputed institute

Experience

+ 5 to 8 years in reputed Indian/multinational organizations with significant experience of Brand management, Managing Marketing mix and Research
